This apartment was a delight. It was in a very quiet residential area, a two storey house full of character and homely furnishings including a piano, lots of books and dvds. To reach the upper floor was via a steep staircase, so probably unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was fine. Kitchen facilities perfectly adequate, and the washing machine was a bonus. Our host Peter lives in a separate house a few steps away. He was extremely helpful and kind, leaving a welcome couple of bottles of wine, cheese, bread, fruit and other items in the fridge. He also provided us with a car parking badge ( valid for up to 2 hours outside) and advised where we could park for free long term, only a 5 minute walk away. We were pleasantly surprised also when Peter said he would bring us breakfast on our first morning, as this was not expected. And it was lovely and fresh, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, rolls, pastries, ham and cheese. Fab! We were very comfortable there, and enjoyed several hours in Middleburg, plus a gorgeous seafood restaurant in town called Basalt, about a 15 minute walk away. There is also a superb supermarket quite nearby called Jumbo which has a great variety of produce. A lovely base for exploring other local towns such as Domburg and Veere.

Hof Welzinge is a farmhouse in the countryside of Middelburg, situated next to a dairy farm with cows, horses and sheeps. We loved the view of the animals, the sound of the cows, and pastering sheeps around us. Our apartament was tastely renovated and comfortable with a well equipped and high quality kitchen.

The house is very spacious and has a very big kitchen. It is really made to receive groups but you still feel at home. The kitchen has really all you need, everything was available. The rooms and bathrooms are nice and perfect, beds are very comfortable. There is a big garden and the house has almost direct access to beautyful beaches. There is a lot to do on Walcheren. Very nice because it's really close to the beach, about 8 min walk or less (and a little adjoined dune area). The accomodation is not far away (10-15min by car) from most big places over there like Vlissingen and Middelburg, even shops and all that.
Our place also had a very nice big bath. Friendly staff (and dog). Might come back sometime with my dog if I need to be in the area again.

I was very pleased with my stay at Princenjagt. Beautifully decorated room, very stylish! Great bed, superquiet room and luxurious bathroom. In the morning I was welcomed by the lovely staff in the dining area with a great breakfast, croissants and fresh made smoothie. Just perfect. Would definitely recommend this place. Great mix of history and all the comfort you can wish for.
The breakfast was marvelous with a varied spread of fish, cheese etc... when I requested gluten-free bread, they offered an entire board of bread, crackers, brownies, and granola. We loved the room and the bathroom was very luxurious.
Lovely clean and well-furnished apartment for the two of us. Massive sofa big enough for watching TV, reading or snoozing. Walking distance from town centre to visit restaurants, cafes, sights, and shops. Had all the kitchen facilities and utensils we needed for self-catering, for the times we did not want to go out for meals. Stairs to climb but large windows created light and airy space, without passers-by looking in. It was a great base for us to explore Middelburg, as well as cycle around other Walcheren towns and villages.
It felt pretty luxurious for the budget. The staff were great - very friendly & helpful, especially the lovely manager in the restaurant (I accidentally ordered a meat dish, but am veggie 🙄).

Modern, luxurious property in a good location. Nice terrace for breakfast. Would have appreciated a King instead of a Twin room. Wellness area was stunning; reception staff offered free day passes after checkin. Great breakfast; dinner culinary experience did not meeting expectations.
The appartment is spacious, comfortable and very well located for a visit to Middelburg and Zeeland more generally. Lovely villages like Veere are just around the corner and Middelburg itself is a beautiful city to just stroll around in.
Location could not be better for a visit to Middelburg. Right in the center of the city but just off to the side so one has a quiet venue in which to retreat.
