Very charming house from the 1600's. Conveniently located for walking but a bit tricky to drive there. The floors on the 2nd floor are very squeaky but given that the house is more than 400 years old, who am I to complain about that? Comfortable bed and enormous bathroom. We had a great time at 'Stadslogementen Franeker', staying in the lovely house by the water. We enjoyed watching the boats go by from the cozy living room. The place has everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Franeker is a charming village and the perfect spot to explore the area. We highly recommend it!
This is a beautiful little canal house in a pretty and historic village. It is very well equipped, the bed is comfortable and there is even a bottle of wine to welcome guests. There are two supermarkets within five minutes walk, a cycle hire shop just round the corner and plenty of restaurants. Altogether, this is great choice for the area.
