We stayed for a week and it was a very nice stay. You can tell the efforts Nancy and Baner put to make the place cozy and comfortable. Lots of awesome details, for example the night light under the bed/near the stairs, blankets, and outdoor furniture etc. The stuff in and out are well picked with taste, especially the bedding - I like the duvet cover and pillow cases in particular and instantly! It is a lovely big, clean house, furnished with good taste. Katy, the host, was more than helpful and gave us lots of local tips and was timely in all communications. The location is perfect and less than five minutes on foot to the entrance of Rotterdam Central Station. The area has a nice tranquility about it, even though it is central, and amenities close by are fantastic with a supermarket, a nice restaurant and a beautiful small pub, all within a 60 second walk from the front door. This said, it was very quiet in the house and people in Rotterdam, in general, are very laid back so there is no danger of not getting a good night's sleep no matter what time you go to bed or wake up.
Like many traditional Dutch houses, the stairs are steep. Absolutely not an issue if you are able for stairs, but one to note if you have mobility restrictions.

We spent a night here on our way home from Bavaria. Villa Augustus was oustanding in every respect - a most interesting conversion from a serries of water management buildings set in a beautiful formal park (to the north) and exquisite vegetable garden (to the south). Reception was most attentive, room and beds very comfortable, the food excellent. Couldn't fault it. We thought Villa Augustus is a destination in its own right.
Everything! Our stay at Villa Conti was the best experience we have had in our travels. We were hosted by Astrid and Charles and no detail was overlooked. We were greeted warmly by Astrid and it was a pleasure speaking with Charles.
Breakfast was always delicious and delightful. Location was prime and we so enjoyed exploring the streets of Dordrecht.

The hotel is small and very cozy and with a luxurious feeling comparing to the price. The staff is very considerate and friendly and did the extra step to accommodate to our specific circumstance.
