We were met on arrival at the airport by a representative for Buck Point House and our hire car was there for us to collect as well. After loading our luggage into the car, we followed her to the house where she explained a few things regarding rubbish, washing, keys and completed the paperwork for payment of house and car rental.
The house has 2 bathrooms and the beds were very comfortable. There were 2 verandah areas with plenty of seating and one was undercover for rainy weather.

We loved the house and property for its spaciousness, its close proximity to town and to everywhere on the island. Brett was a very gracious host and nothing was too much trouble for him. We enjoyed our chats with him. We loved the birds, the avocado tree, the lovely garden and even the resident chickens with their baby chicks. The house was airy and cool and suited our family group’s needs perfectly.
Auwas Island Holiday home is a large standalone 3 bedroom house set close to the Norfolk Island National Park in a private setting. It has views from the balcony down the valley.

The property is indeed beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Meryta. The rooms, surround and ambience were first rate. Jess, Wayne and Ian were so helpful with our questions and requests, they were great so please pass on our thanks to them. Only 2 items we would like to note :
1. Both bathrooms are in major need of exhaust/ventilation fans etc as the rooms completely drip after hot showers and we needed to blow dry the mirrors to see anything.
2. Bed and bath linen need to be changed/refreshed at least every 7 days for better service. Although I will note that we had a general clean once in our 10 day stay which was good. Thank you. Robyn

The resort was very comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. We loved having the Gazebo for us to meet and relax.
We were able to mix with other guest and resort staff in the Gazebo which was enjoyable.

Step back in time to a simple & clean villa, comfy king bed, friendly staff and all we needed. We woke each day to a magnificent vista of Phillip Island and the call of the local cockerel. Close proximity to town, restaurants and a short drive to historic Kingston & everywhere else the island has to offer.
Very clean and comfortable cottage for our stay in Norfolk Island. The property is lovely and well landscaped and very quiet in the evening despite being close to the main village area. Good provision of utensils and pots/pans for cooking and easy access to the bbq. Jackie and Peter are good hosts.
This was a wonderful location with stunning scenery. The villa was very well equipped and the host tipped us off on grabbing some fresh food to BBQ on the front deck. The villa was also very spacious with wonderful natural light. I highly recommend this property!
The villa was very well appointed, clean and with great privacy as well as amazing views. You're in a world of your own. It was a pleasure to communicate with the property managers. Charisse took every effort to make sure we were looked after - restaurant recommendations, activity suggestions, and even after discussing snorkelling at Emily Bay reef, a snorkel was soon left waiting for use during our stay.
The bed was so comfy, and the sheets were luxurious. A very cute unit overlooking the mountains. WiFi was great, and it was nice to have complimentary milk, salt, pepper, oil, and parsley. Great location, friendly hosts, and the pick up from the airport was appreciated. The ocean view cabins and view looked amazing. There's also a complimentary laundry on site.
