Villas in Kampung Padang Masirat

It is an excellent Villa to stay in, Beautifully decorated, Big outdoor green area along with Swimming Pool. Hosts are very accommodating & provided 5 start service. Fully recommended.

An epiphany awaiting here....in the design for jungle/beach location, never have I experienced such a warm Malaysian welcome in hospitality, privacy, respect and luxury as Ambong. Check in was conducted in our villa 8 Temayong, but prior to our arrival offered fresh fruit tea refreshments. Our chosen villa was exactly what we wanted. Spacious and comfortable. Everything working fine, including Aircon. We had separate breakfast kitchen with complimentary soft drinks including plenty of water. Big TV with pre loaded aps but no live TV. It took the UK electrical 3pin plug. Bathroom massive! 2 showers! Complimentary towels and liquids. Electronic safe. Housekeeping helped with everything, including the electric mozzie repellent. Pool and surroundings clean, tidy and safe. Pool access in private surroundings cool, but filter off at 10pm. Food and drinks can be served to the room. Villa on a steep incline, but shuttle service always available. Service from waiters/bar staff/concierge and all communication from help and advice to outside travel, to internal bookings, exemplary. Breakfast and dinner arrangements similar: Different menus on different themes. Try the local options, we really warmed to the Malaysian cuisine! Lovely fresh fruit on offer on all breakfast accompaniments, as was the pastries, cupcakes and toast with jam. We booked a cooking class with Chef Amin (mr250 , £43) in which you choose your 3 course meal, he runs through the ingredients and answers questions while you do his work for him! Fantastic experience, first time I've ever done something like that - thoroughly recommend. And then we come on to the jewel in the crown - nature and wildlife - which we were lucky enough to see. Staff will guide you, but we saw 2 different types of monkey, squirrel, hornbills, birds, dragon flies in abundance - as were the butterflies, and a kindy snake that decided to cut across us one day as we were heading back!

Location and the host's behavior

I liked everything about La Villa, We were picked up from the airport by a private chauffeur, greeted by the amazing team at the Villa lobby and was offered a welcoming drink and extra complementaries. The villa was 10/10, Because design and location, very spacious and had a nice nature look too it which suited the Island vacation theme. Our private villa was very spacious and secluded. Very quiet villa which was perfect for our needs. Hotel offered us free pick up and drop off to the local beach which was very convenient and nice. Breakfast was good, although the options weren’t the best. And portions of some dishes were small. Would expect a better breakfast at that price point. Overall, We enjoyed our stay and the amazing hospitality just made it 10 times better. Would definitely come back in the near future.

Staff is super friendly!! Villa’s are spacious and we enjoyed our pool view bathroom. Simply gorgeous! Also the restaurant for breakfast is amazing!

Beautiful villas.

The property is very spacious and clean. Comfortable beds and linens. Our family enjoyed the pool several evenings. Good gym facilities in the hotel next door which we have access to. The owner & staff were incredibly patient and helpful- they practically planned our itinerary for us on WhatsApp before we arrived and booked everything. Grandma and my son particularly enjoyed the speed boat at the geopark. Location gives you good access to the beach (though path to the beach was not particularly picturesque). At least 2 really good restaurants directly opposite the street. Very convenient especially when the stocks at the local minimarts are quite limited.

We recently spent two amazing days at this bungalow with a group of 10 people, and it was a fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Ronny, who made sure we felt right at home. The entire place was sparkling clean, and the interior design was truly impressive. The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable, providing everyone with plenty of space to relax. The swimming pool was a highlight of our stay—perfect for cooling off and having fun together. The location is another big plus. It’s just a 5-minute drive from Cenang Mall, and Grabcar services made getting around super convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this bungalow to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area!
