We made our reservation through Booking.com for a short getaway. The house is conveniently located approx 300m away to Cameron Highlands Resort, about 10min drive to Tanah Rata.
Kitchen appliances and cutlery set are complete. Cleanliness is at satisfying level. Mildew at some part of the house is acceptable due to the weather. Would be great if the garden has more flowers. 🌼😄

Amazing location! You can even walk to pretty fine restaurants and rental shops. Good outdoor facilities for kids! Size of the villa is great, a lot of people can stay there.
The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. The staff was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore the city. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to all tastes. I highly recommend this Hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and hassle-free experience.
Mossy Forest retreat 2 is a nice little apartment as per pictures. It is not spacious for a 3 bedrooms apartment, but it is relatively calm (depending on your neighbours -we heard parties until 2am but we were maybe unlucky) and the balcony is a cute area to relax. It’s close to the Mossy Forest but far from restaurants and shops (need a car).
Exceeded my expectations. A little gem of a place. Feels like you're staying at a flower farm due to so many flowers everywhere. Mountain views from the tiny chalets. Kea Guesthouse is a short drive from famous tea farms. There's a mall a 5 minute drive down the hill in Brinchang village. You can buy thosai and Indian food 5 minutes away at brinchang Village. There's lots of food stalls around selling fresh corn, sweet potato, boiled eggs, and there's a sheep sanctuary beside the guest house.
As a frequent traveller to Cameron Highlands, I would proudly say this apartment is the cleanest compared to all apartments I have stayed. The host also responds to all my queries immediately. Comfortable and clean, very well maintained. Will definitely come back for a break in mossy forest family retreat.
Property was super lovely, with some good views and great facilities. Comfy bed, and were given a very helpful guide of what to do from the guest house. Had a very filled and fun couple of days of completing some of the trails and then had a half day tour that was very easy to book. The guesthouse can even let your bus to your next destination, know that you’re staying here, so that you can save on the travel to Tanah Rata. We also rate Mama’s cafe, a restaurant in the village, for food!!
What a house, what a garden, what an enclosure on the edge of the village! Prime, calm location. Cosy rooms with balcony, if you booked the smaller room, you can use one of the communal ones facing downhill. There is complimentary toast, tea, coffee, jam, crackers and water in the communal pantry downstairs. Free fridge for your little somethings. You can rent a motorbike without much ado, you even get free transfer to the bus terminal (which is in walking distance). Staff is very friendly and caring.
The kitchen was spacious, space for activities & photos in between 2 villas (but too close to neighbourhood), enough beds for more than 30 pax and could bring extra totos for kids. Has water filter and fridge.
