On a good note, the location met our needs and is in a very nice complex where you can see most people take pride in their property. There is a guard at the entry and a really nice pool area on the roof of this complex. Yes, the sunsets are pretty spectacular. This condo is near the end of the complex and is one of a handful that has trees right in the back. (Others have a concrete wall). So that was an appealing view just above the secure enclosed area. The rooms were big enough and the beds comfortable. The master suite bathroom was spacious, whereas the other bathroom was smaller and you had to shimmy around the door then close it to get to the toilet. The first floor also had a bathroom. The condo can be amazing with some attention and removal of the rusty couch.
There is also a great simple little open air restaurant called Ananda, with super nice people and good quality food just across the street and to the right a little. Shout out to Maria, David, Jose and the cook (owner).

The place is beautiful. A villa just for us, with 2 bathrooms, one downstairs, one upstairs. The bed was confortable, the villa has all the amenities, working, and the beautiful terrace had amazing views to the nature. What a relaxing way to spend a week. Wake up in this mansion and head down to breakfast. The nice staff bring you fresh cut fruit and coffee as you wait and they prepare you choice of eggs. The location was hard to beat too. We walked to town most times. Not a short walk but do-able. After dinner we'd catch a taxi or tuk-tuk home. Many knew exactly where Villa Segovia was. If not - 45 and 11th works too.
There is tones of space for a large family or group, private location,quite, the villas are well maintained and clean, booking manager is fantastic to deal with!
Food variety and availability was excellent! Service was top notch, all staff were very helpful and friendly. An emphasis on sustainability throughout the property was much appreciated. Liked the layout of villas within the property. The mosquito repellent provided was very good (although not 100% effective for some people). Good variety of cocktails and spirits. Great location for scuba divers as it is close to Palancar & Cedral.
Felt like a colonial jungle village with a good mix of bungalows and apartments. We had a suite with a private pool fenced by high bamboo. Cleaning was well above expectations, as the service in general. Lots of sunbeds and chairs in common pool areas. Safe, not much noise from traffic etc.
I loved my stay here! The staff were so friendly and attentive, they made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable, the pool was lovely and you could not beat the location! I can't say enough about how great our stay was at Hotel Villas Anlcas and would recommend to anyone, especially those wanting the in town experience
Jessica and Margarita are lovely. They really care about guests and take the xtra Miles to make you feel like at home. The pool was great and the 3 room villas were very big.
Our family of 5 (3 young adult kids) stayed in one of the villas and loved it. It was comfortable and spacious and we enjoyed the hammock and outdoor space. The staff were very friendly, attentive and always available. The grounds were absolutely beautiful - very tropical, peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed hanging out at the pool and the common area.
