This place is amazing! It is perfectly located, only a 10 min walk to the top of Pipila and a wonderful view of all of Guanajuato.
The house itself is beautiful and very homie and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there are a few stores down the street with a couple of restaurants as well. Rooms are air-conditioned, and beds are comfortable. There's a back patio on the 2nd floor to play and hang out. And there is also gated parking.
Highly recommend this place if you like quiet peaceful nights away from all the party noise or you are with family.
The host was also very hospitable and available whenever we needed her.

Antigua Casa del Limon is beautiful. It is like going back in time to the authentic colonial times with a touch of modernism – a gem! The house is well taken care of, and the contemporary upgrades are seamless given how big the house is and how many independent “hang out” type spaces have been created, we never felt like we were on top of each other – especially for an all “girl” vacation. A few key highlights of the house include:
The terraces and patio are exquisite and accessible from every room for hacienda-style living! They are wonderful gathering places for the guests.
Dipping pool is fun and heated.
The views are spectacular, loved the authenticity of the homes and bright colors, especially at either sunrise or sunset. So romantic.
The kitchen is huge and fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, etc., and the formal dining room is spacious for large family meals.
The dishes and the floors are true to Mexico and one of a kind. The decorations and art elevate the enjoyment of the property.
In summary, the house is one of a kind and truly in the heart of beautiful and enchanting Guanajuato.

Very atmospheric place, old villa in the middle of the town (even with a small garden) and you sleep just in one of the original old rooms.

Bedroom was comfortable with king size bed/ Breakfast was tasty. Rooftop with many plants and views was a nice retreat. Bathroom and shower were good, with hot water and cheerful ambiance. The location was excellent, only a 5 minute walk from a nearby plaza in one direction and the Plaza Barrilla in the other direction so close to Jardin Union and Juarez Theatre. The staff were helpful and friendly. The BnB was an old historic house.
Absolutely lovely room and bathroom, with beautiful style and finishes. Spacious room size, with a table and sofas as well as the bed. A good number of surfaces for unpacking (useful for travellers).
Good location within easy walking distance of the centre but on a quiet road.

This hotel was like an oasis. The dorm room was beautiful and clean with luxurious furnishings. The bathroom and shower was like a fancy hotel. I was alone in the 4 bed dorm and there was another 4 bed dorm opposite where another guest was given the whole room too. I really appreciated that.
Breakfast is simple. Really comfortable sofa by the front. Host was lovely.

The hostel is right on the edge of the city center and you can walk everywhere. The place is old but was absolutely clean. There is a super nice view from the rooftop. The hosts are superfriendly, helpfull and they serve you a freshly made breakfast every morning. Some mexicans are living in the same place. Don't expect luxury at this place but for the price it's totally worth it.
