The host was already there to welcome us with a welcoming drink and made us feel at home. It was the last day of our stay after a week long conference, so having the time to just relax and enjoy the house was great. We enjoyed our stay at La Magdalena. The garden is beautiful, with lovely flowers as well as coconut trees on the side. The apartment is single level and stair-free, which served our needs well. And it is close to the National Hospital. We recommend that you have a car, though there are buses and taxis. Accoutrements are all fine. There are various Hindu symbols around the house and garden. Many other small items that reflect the unique taste of the owners, especially in the kitchen. The landlords/managers are very nice.
