Definitely the best place we spent the night during our roaming over the Mauritius. The owner is very nice smily guy always wanting to help with anything including housing, shopping, leisure activities, etc. Even asking what else he could improve for next visitors. Growing own chilli, gave me his own products to taste. The house is enormous, 3 floors, multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, balcony and accessible roof, fully equipped. The market, gas station, liquor store and the beach are really close.

Little bit of Paradise overlooking the village of La Gaulette. Friendly, responsive hosts and staff. Ideally located for a relaxed holiday. It's even better than it looks on the website.

Stay at Villa Hibiscus was excellent. Eric is a superb host. Very accommodating, friendly and attention to detail. Comfy stay equipped with everything you need. Quite centrally located with lots to do in the surroundings and explore. Added benefit is use of a kayak to explore the bay. Also at an extra cost Rita made us a delicious Mauritian home cooked meal, highly recommend!
Amazing stay, very good location in a quiet village. Eric was very helpful to us with everything we needed and asked. The check-in process was easy and smooth.
Teddy is a great host! Always supportive (offers advice or a lift or whatever you need) and understanding. His motto is „make yourself a home“. He suggested to move the couch so we could create a safe bed for our kid.
The accomodation is well located (near restaurants, supermarket and bus stops.
In my opinion the village La Gaulette is underestimated. Before we went to La Gaulette people asked „why are you going there?“ we know very well now: it is a small fisher‘s place clos to Chamarell, Le Morne mountain and Prairie beach.
