Beautiful property atop a hill, with nice views of the surroundings (including a view of the Queen's Palace). Very clean. Elegant decor. Comfortable beds. Access to private swimming pool (competition-length, which is great for serious swimmers), a pool-house equipped with grill, bar, tables, and games (ping pong and foosball), and a private playground for younger children. We ordered 1 meal that was excellent, served in-house by the hosts. The hosts live in a separate unit on the property and they were available whenever we had questions. One of the hosts used to be a competitive swimmer and she gave the children a swim lesson. A relaxing place if you want to get away from the bustle of downtown Tana.

Great location, close to the airport. Only 5 minutes away. The small town village of ivato was great to walk around, and in summer the pool would be amazing. Great outdoor area, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It's super affordable, and very secure with big fences around and security at the front. The restaurant was fantastic, fresh omelettes for breakfast. A nice and comfortable reception and lounge area.

Ny Hasy and his awesome staff were incredibly friendly, helpful & accommodating. My friend and I had a delightful stay on many occasions during our journey and I strongly recommend giving "Villa Espoir" a try, especially if you want some time in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle & bustle of downtown!
The house looks magnificent from the outside. An old mansion. There is a garden. Nothing else positive I can say. People are extremely weird to give this place such glowing reviews.
The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I wasn’t searching for a luxury, I needed a base point during my tour of the country and this served the purpose of placing my head and luggage for the night. They were able to secure my bags when I was away and the staff helped with a host of other things.
super friendly staff - not just one person, but everyone there. from the servers to the reception to each of the doormen. i loved it & recommend others to come. super clear facilities, great interior decor, looked very luxury, amazing views of the cityscape and hills from each window, great views from restarant, great ambiance & food choice of restaurant, could not have asked for better. also the staff went out of their way to get me on some tours to check out the lemurs. super loved it
The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent. Rooms were spacious and uniquely decorated. The rooftop terrace (with pool and bar) provided a welcome retreat (what a pity that it only opens at 11 AM). A wonderful curio shop and an ATM are both conveniently located opposite the hotel, and the airport is a five-minute drive away.
