It's exactly how it looks on the pictures. Spotlessly clean. 15m walk into Virpazar (but unlit) - perfect if heading in for a boat cruise. Milo was absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. His enthusiasm is so infectious. He really makes this place click. He really couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. The setting is beautiful. You could just stop by the pool all day.

The house is just around Virpazar (20 min walk). It was very quiet with a beautiful view at the mountain. We also got 10% discount at the Boat Restaurant in Virpazar wich had the best dinner around. The kid loved the swing at terrace. Aircon, small kitchen, everything was fine 👌 especially the whole wooded house was so lovely! We also got tips and quick replies when we got any questions. Perfect stay if you want to discover Virpazar or even the area down to Budva (1h with car). Awesome!

The best decision you can make in Montenegro is to stay at least for few days in Fortress Šofranac. Very cozy house with fresh renovation, every interior design is made with care and style. Inside you can find everything you need - clean bathroom, big comfortable bed with fresh sheets, stylish living room with dining area and kitchen with everything you need to make food. In good weather I highly recommend to chill on the terrace with a drink - the atmosphere is truly amazing, same as the view! You will especially enjoy it if you like animals - there are friendly cats and different birds around.
Žabljak Cernojevica is a place which will steal your heart. Green forests, small river with boats - all looks like it's just a picture from a fairytale. Make sure to go up to the hill to see the ruins of old fortress and get a breathtaking view on Skadar lake, tiny villages and all the beautiful nature. It's especially beautiful on a sunset!
And I would especially like to mention the host of the house and his family, they are so wonderful! Sava always was one call away, ready to help with any question you have. Very sincere and sympathetic person, with him you can't worry about anything and just feel yourself a new member of a family.
His sister helped me with all the questions I had before booking, including the transfer, also very kind and friendly!

We had a really great stay at Eco Villas Merak! The hosts are really friendly and do everything to help you whenever needed! We even had a free wine tasting the first evening we arrived, which was really nice :) The bikes are very handy to go to Virpazar quickly, so that was certainly a plus. The area still has a lot of houses under construction so sometimes there was a bit of noise during the day but it never bothered us and you didn't hear it inside the house.
Nice and cosy villas with the cleanest swimming pool with warm water. Very neat place, friendly owner, delicious food. The bed was very convenient and the house had everything we needed for comfortable stay. It is a very quiet place a few hundred meters from Virpazar. Strongly recommend it for staying.
Eco Villas Merak is in a lovely setting with gorgeous views from the pool and the terrace. The host was very helpful, booking us taxis before we even arrived! There is free wine tasting for guests which was very enjoyable and gave us a chance to ask all about the process and the area. It is possible to buy dinner which we did, and was a lovely simple home cooked dinner on the terrace.
The villas and the whole property are lovely and the family who own it are very hospitable and helpful. Home cooked food provided was delicious. Wine tasting nice added touch. Free adult bikes and a couple for small children too.
Milo was a fantastic host and really made our stay at Skadar Lake special. The villas were small and comfy, the food offered for breakfast and dinner was prepared on site, the place was very tidy... A great place to relax - and quite a contrast to the pushy sales stalls just off the old bridge at Virpazar.
Milos suggestions for trips and activities around the premise were right on target: We absolutely recommmend taking the private boat tour on the Lake with Marina in the morning <3
Everything about these villas is class. We found the turn off for the village hard to find but once we did the villas were easy to find. Everything done to a very high standard. We were sorry we only had one night. The service is excellent including breakfast and dinner served on the terrace.
We had an absolutely excellent stay at this property - the family who own the property and winery were very friendly and accommodating and spoke good English. They arranged for us to have a free wine tasting of the wine they make on site, which was delicious! The villas are beautifully decorated and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool. With the bicycles they provide it was very quick to get to Virpazar. Would definitely stay again.
The little villas are very sweet and a great balance of a holiday accommodation while feeling a little authentic. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and offered us a tasting of their wine.
