My wife and I stayed at Village House Baco for a night during our two week honeymoon trip through Montenegro and Croatia. The location is incredible, the hosts were wonderful, and the property was perfect. We went to the nearby Canyon Nevidio guided tour, which was an incredible experience. Our only regret is not staying longer. We booked our trip without knowing how beautiful the Durmitor National park is and most of our trip was on the coast. We're already planning on coming back and staying here for a full week next year, as the hosts recommended us rafting, ziplining, and many other activities we are eager to do.

This was the most beautiful stay. Everything was exceptional. The house was not just perfectly clean, neat and comfortable but every detail was carefully thought through and everything was prepared with a lot of thought for us. The atmosphere of this place is amazing! The hosts make you feel like family. We really enjoyed breathtaking views, delicious food (best bread we have ever eaten!!) and we will definitely remember the bonfire together. We regret that our stay was so short, and we highly recommend Green Village to anyone visiting Durmitor! Can’t wait to be back here!

Exceptional location. A bit besides the beaten tracks but really worth the effort. Nice place to calm down. Enjoy the silence and the good food. The food alone is worth the trip. Everything is produced in the villages around. Mouthwatering and delicious down to earth and honest food. The place is run by a young and lovely family wich puts a lot of effort into it. One who is looking for a fancy multi-star hotel will be disappointed. One who is looking for a nice relaxing stay in a beautiful landscape will feel rather welcome here.

I loved the whole environment! I needed getaway from city and this was the place. Its a village with lots of goats, horses, cows, dogs and few houses with local restaurant. Young sisters are working in restaurant and they also live here, they made us feel as part of family and to feel home. The atmosphere was super relaxed and pleasant.
