Our host was very accommodating, waited for us (even if we arrived rather late, as per the announced hour) and gave us a nice tour. The flat is big enough to accommodate a family with 3 children. We were also allowed to park within the premises (for free). The bathroom included a sauna (against a small fee) which we did no use, however. The garden, even if not very large, allowed for privacy and a fresh breath of air. Even if Ventspils is rather small, quiet and green, it is always best to have you „own” green garden. We went there just after mid-August and the town was already about empty. We very much enjoyed the wide and long sand beach, with a beautiful see just above the bathing-limit temperature, with the children thrilled about finding amber on the shore, among the algae. Yes, we did find some small gems, unlike in Lithuania, where the beaches were more populated. A big thumbs-up. Other than that we found Ventspils a literally perfect place for families, with a generous open-air museum, where you could also enjoy a narrow-gauge train ride, seemingly the only one in the Baltics, a beautiful park and a medieval castle which was well-worth a visit. A bit of everything for everyone.

Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
It is the very center of the town, and free parking is more bonus. I stayed just one night, and regret it, as the house has a village style garden, place for sitting outside. The owner is so cute and helpful.

VILLA FLORANCE apartments were close to the Ventspils blue flag beach (Zilā karoga pludmale) - about 10 minutes by foot and not far from some bars and restaurants. Little grocery shop "Citro minimarket" can also be reached by foot. Very quiet in night time. Beds were comfortable enough. There was also big fitted kitchen (common with the guest room) with the big fridge and outdoors terrace. Receiving of the room key - contactless. The main door code and safety key box code will be sent to you on the day of arrival.
Great location next to big park for children. As well Villa Victoria have lovely, spacious yard for children, especially smaller ones. As well there is grilling facilities for all. Flat was clean, really comfortable bed, nice little bath, which was very handly for the kids after beach. As well loundry machine - really needed. Thank you! It was very easy to get into flat as the key was left next to the door in the box with code, so no need to inform about arrrival- very comfortable!

The Ostmala is a modern villa in a traditional design, perfectly located for the beach and seaside park areas. The neighbouring streets are peaceful and some rooms overlook the villa’s garden. The communal kitchen is large and well equipped. Two major supermarkets are within a short walk so self catering is convenient.
Wery good location, super pleasent stuff! In the kitchen you can find everything you need, villa’s owner Alex helps with any questions. We have stayies two times and definatelly will come back again :)
Great for a family with kids. The restored villa has an amazing garden that is very accommodating for kids (e.g. little bikes, swing, trampoline etc). The big veranda is great for enjoying self-made meal or a glass of wine. The hosts are a friendly couple that think along providing tips on what to visit. Would definitely recommend this to a family and would prefer this over a hotel for sure.
