excellent property, very spacious for four adults, with three big double bed rooms with attached toilets. the set up is located right on the beach (2 mins walk). basic amenties are available in kitchen. there's no provision for lunch and dinner but many resturants around and UBER eats also delivers (tried and tested) within 15 mins time.

You book the whole second floor. You have a private entrance which is very nice. AC is strong.
Beware this is a real house. The living room (and even the bedroom) is not fully isolated. Even if you keep all your doors shut mosquitos can come. But they do have a net and provide a repellent
Note there are quite big gaps between the roof and walls in the kitchen/living room. Do not leave mangoes or any food unattended. Racoon or some other creature will steal it! :) Do not be that person

This place was simply amazing - I could keep on raving about it and it wouldn’t even justify the experience at Eraeliya Villas & Gardens. Sundan and the rest of the staff were simply amazing in their way of making us feel welcome and home. The facilities were worth every dime and I’d love to go back some time.
I love this place so much I’ve revisited several times. The villas have an old colonial feel with lots of character, and they’re located amidst beautiful gardens. There’s lots of nature to watch and a really relaxed, comfortable vibe. The staff are really friendly and the breakfasts are good. The guesthouse is located in a quiet location away from main roads. Walking distance to great beaches and several good, local restaurants.
Our stay at Malabar Hill was truly a 5 star experience and our best stay in Sri Lanka. From the attention to details, to the villas, food and staff, everything was perfect. Can only recommend. A big thank you to the amazing staff that did everything they could to accommodate us!

Everything about the resort was remarkable.
The location is on top of a hill with an amazing sea view, private pool, and chillout pillows in the villa with privacy and jungle all around us. The
design and interior made me feel like the team put a lot of time and effort to make a perfect set up for a luxurious moment. I would have loved to stay longer then two nights, maybe forever. The staff were so kind and helpful, I can't think of anything less then perfection. My favorite stay in Sri lanka by far.
The entire property is designed beautifully with great attention to detail. The villas are well spaced apart for privacy with amazing views and cleaned daily. Excellent breakfast and dinner with a great menu. The staff were so friendly and attentive and provided excellent service all round.
We stayed here as a family of 2 adults and 3 children - the apartment was spacious and had more than enough space for us and our luggage. The villas are clean, of high quality and the host was on hand to greet us and ensure all was perfect with our room. The shower had good pressure and the bedding was hotel quality. We were able to wash clothes in the hotel provided machine and dry items overnight. The site is quiet which was welcome after a few nights on the beach road! Highly recommended!
Healthy and tasteful breakfast, with lots of tropical fruits. Simple but tasty lunch. Dinner mostly curries with excellent real catch of the day fish. The colonial style villas are located in a beautiful tropical garden, frequented by all sorts of animals like monkeys, peacocks, humming birds, monitor lizards and squirrels. But the best of all is the staff. Very helpful and extremely kind. They can organize anything for you, and often had so before you asked, including tuktuk service.
