This is a very unique place, as mentioned by other reviews. It has two bedrooms, the second one, with two beds, has AC, which goes for some extra money, but reasonably. However the house never gets really hot and we didn't even use fans at night time, as the sea breeze from the window was just enough. The house is very well maintained and everything works just right. Booking's pictures are very accurate. The owner is kind, helpful and always there if you need to, doing a great job to keep his guests safe and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

this is a hard question, EVERYTHING, I wanted to extend the stay but we already had a place down the coast. it is two beds large bathroom and a kitchen stove and fridge then there is also an amazing porch to eat or tea or relax. this may seem small detail but having good lighting in the villa was so nice. from bright to just a low bulb before bed. the host was responsive and kind could not ask for more. it was a 3 minute walk to the beach. if you have read this far just stop and book you will not regret.

We stayed for one nights in Serendip Villa Holiday home. The Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the dinner was delicious. The AC worked perfekt and the bathroom was clean and the shower was good
I liked everything, this place is highly recommended. Prasath the Manager was fantastic, he made me feel like home. If you want a comfortable laid back place and relax, this is the place to go.
I have had a wonderful stay serendip villa it is remarkably peace full and quite amid lush jangles full of birds and occasional langurs. Caretakers are doing a great job of hospitality. Keeping place very neat and well maintained few grocery shops are nearby. Kitchen with all essentials. Talalla beach is very nice easliy reachable. Would definitely recommend to stay in this more authentic part of the sri lanka for purer local experience
A lovely villa in the most relaxing village, the hosts are so friendly and helpful. The beautiful beach is only a 10minute walk. Breakfast was always delicious, great clean rooms with air con, and a lovely outdoor patio/balcony to hang out in the evenings. Kitchen facilities were a good standard for basic cooking. Prasath and Nisha are wonderful hosts and we are so grateful for their hospitality :) Thank you!
The most lovely retreat on a lesser known but equally beautiful beach. It felt like a home away from home with tea, coffee, water, fruit available in the day and lovely breakfasts in the mornings. Near to a couple of restaurants and a bakery a small walk away. Great pool and loungers on the beach and a stunning sea view. The host and his team were very friendly and accommodating of any queries we had. We changed our booking to only one night but definitely wished we could have stayed longer.
Because we love this place so much we returned for 3 more nights after our yoga-retreat. Immediately we felt like home again. The room has everything we need and is always very clean. The hospitality and awareness of this family is just incredible. Anu remembered our favourite dishes and every day we got a different one for dinner. Same with the breakfast. At the end they even got up in the middle of the night to give us a warm goodbye and a breakfast-parcel that we didn‘t stay hungry at the airport.

Came back to one of the best villas in Sri Lanka, and it was even better, it’s improving! I loved breakfasts, quiet days and nights and nature, and it’s also very close to the beach!
Our stay in Handun Villas was amazing. The rooms were very clean. And The staff was very helpful. Helped us to organize TukTuk and even cross the road ro beach. The beach is empty, you could rarely see someone passing by. Like a holiday in paradise with peacocks around.
