The lodge had a beautiful and peaceful garden filled with trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary tools and appliances, including pots, pans, a gas cooker, fridge, and washing machine. Amazing stay here! It's a family run place, super friendly people. Breakfast is included and it's great, home made. I had lunch too which was sumptuous, like a feast and all very nominal in price. The room is on a slope/hill, so the view from the balcony outside the room is nice with a lot of trees.

Our host is very helpful and can logically be proud of his home where we stayed alone. There is a lot of attention from the staff - 3 smiling ladies- for detail and sincere care (unexpect cup of tea with treats bij the pool) and at the delicious Indian & SL dinner at a tastefully set table. From the moment we arrived at RNV the owner and staff made us feel at home and really went above and beyond. They took us on a tour of the village showing us the best swimming holes.
In the evenings we loved being able to sit next to the river with a fire sharing stories.
After months in the tourist areas of the south it was nice to slow down and meet local Sri Lankans living their lives.
We will definitely come back!
the nature view , the falls sound just beside the villa. it was totally a great stay.. the staff were too friendly…they even came up to the main road to receive ur baggage’s and escort u to the room.
