This stay was definitely one of the best places we've got the chance to stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. The hosts; Nisal and his family, were always very attentive and was there to help with any of our queries.
You get a wonderful place to yourselves, overlooking a small lake. We loved waking up to the sounds of the birds and seeing tiny ducks swimming around the lake.
The accommodation comes fully stocked with complimentary food, drinks, and snacks. It's probably the first place we have seen that comes with a large range of complimentary items. The kitchenette was fully equipped for any type of food preps and cooking.
We will definitely visit again. Thank you for hosting us.

We had booked the homestay for four nights and it was clearly one of the best places we have ever stayed in Srilanka. The owner Mrs. Maleeka is an EPITOME of kindness and she treated us with so much love and hospitality throughout the stay. She has a full time caretaker who stays within the same house and two adorable and friendly dogs. The owner also stays in the same house and the bedrooms with attached bathrooms are given for private use. However the entire common areas including large living room, dining area, TV lounge are all available for use as well. You can also discuss breakfast options with them. The location is about 20 minutes by tuk tuk which was easily available in the main road, which is barely a few metres away. Good options for restaurants as well. It was the perfect stay, thanks to Mrs. Maleeka and we would highly recommend their homestay for both short as well as long stays!
