Lovely accommodation with a homely feel. The room was exceptionally clean with a beautiful modern bathroom. The staff were so friendly and accommodating . I did the half board which I highly recommend , the food was beautiful and so much! The breakfast was delicious and a wonderful lady (sorry I didn’t get her name) doing the food service in the morning had the most wonderful genuine smile and laugh. The location is down a lovely street and not far to walk places.

The staff were super professional and helpful. One time I went to for a sightseeing, they contacted their regular company. We were supposed to arrive at 4 pm, but I asked the driver to pass by a local shop, at 5 pm they were calling the driver to check if I'm okay or not. They also celebrated my birthday. This is perfect place for whoever is looking for elite standards.

Great host. Had a lovely time. Very good value for the money. Quick tuk tuk ride into town. Owner helped us order delivery dinner, made us breakfast, and organized tours and taxis. Poor chap even loaned me his umbrella which I promptly broke. (SORRY!) Very quiet and clean.

The place was so calm and beautiful. The staff went above and beyond. We spent two nights and decided not to do anything else on the middle day. Went on a tour of the tea plantation in the morning and had all meals there. Helped us feel revived!! The butler, chef and other staff were excellent! Definitely worth the drive out.

Everything about the villa was amazing. From the luxurious interior to the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, dam and tea plantations, our experience here was wonderful and a much needed getaway in an extremely calm and serene place. We were hosted by the very warm and cheerful Akila and served delicious meals prepared by the talented in-house chef.
It's a beautiful villa, spacious rooms, good beds and especially the rooms upstairs with their own bathroom, very luxurious. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. We even got a free upgrade of our rooms when another booking was cancelled. The location is perfect, quiet but just a 500m walk to the center of the town.
The staff was so friendly and cooperative, the view was exceptional, the location is 20 minutes by car to the city centre luxury same like photos . The breakfast was delicious and more than enough. There's sounds system inside the villa , all kitchen facilities are available with big fridge , freezer and cooker .
The Villa is very clean and nicely furnished, stands out by the care someone gave to make it look nice & feeling of a luxurious stay. The rooms were spacious enough, the beds were very comfortable. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Nice view of vegetables Gardens. Dinner was delicious, freshly cooked. Breakfast was also very good. Outside of city center, away from crowds and noise.
La Grande Villa is a must to do if you are coming at NUWARA ELIYA. You can feel the luxury England atmosphere everywhere. The room is fabulous, the food is delicious and all the staff was so caring, so helpful and so nice. You can count on the receptionist Farhan if you need anything, count on the chef if you want to eat Sri Lankan, Indian or English food and count on the staff to makes you feel like a VIP guest. Thanks to all of you for this unforgettable stay. I warmly recommend that place.
The staff's exceptional friendliness added to our positive experience, but our room lacked the expected view we had booked. The premises appeared somewhat unkempt for what was advertised as luxury condos, leading to an overall impression that didn't align with the notion of a luxurious place.The staff also handled our luggage well, significantly contributing to our positive experience despite the shortcomings of the place.
We felt genuinely cared for during our stay, and Newtan's warm and friendly demeanour added a personal touch that made all the difference. The combination of the luxurious villa and Newtan's exceptional service has set the bar high for our future getaways – an experience we will fondly remember.

We were pleased we stayed here, rather than the Hill Club or the Grand Hotel, as we still got to visit those for drinks and afternoon tea, but also enjoyed the stroll through the gardens to get from LA Grande Villa to the other hotels.
