This place is basically in the centre of Colombo but also completely calm surrounded by a nice garden, with a pool and seating around. It is an old nice wooden villa with a lovely atmosphere. Also we had a wonderful breakfast and the manager of the villa is a great man at the right place. Organised for us all we needed for a very good price and kids just loved him.

At the time of our stay they were building a descent size pool. It would be nice once finished. Private and quite area. Acess to motorways to go down south or Kandy side was easy from nearest town of Piliyandala.

The place is really beautiful and very closed to Mount Lavinia hotel and just at the beach front, there is a swimming pool and it is a very quite place to rest and get away to retreat and chill
The Lion Pub is famous in Sri Lanka, located by the Galle Road. The rooms are decent, but the hotel feels a bit empty. Considering its location and price, it's worth it. Amenities include a bed-mounted TV and functional AC. Bathrooms are clean and odor free, and the place feels safe. Clean bed sheets and comfy beds make for a satisfying stay, though it's not a luxury experience.
The host was friendly, informative and had a great vibe. Very accomodating. The villa itself is spacious, bright and had lots of facilities. Super clean.

I’ve stayed at the Villa in Lavinia many times. Since there has been a new manager it has gotten even better. Great location (just outside the city centre (which can be very noisy and crazy) in a nice, calm neighbourhood. The staff are super friendly and helpful and everything is very clean and nicely decorated. A boutique favourite for a very reasonable price.
