Great place - it really is the whole villa so very spacious. There is a lovely private swimming pool with deck chairs. Yasith and Soma were there to meet us on arrival and came every morning to cook breakfast and clean. One night Yasith organized an amazing BBQ - a nice change from going out to restaurants. There are 2 separate beaches only a few minutes' walk from the villa.

Kuma and his wife Krishanti were so welcoming and helpful. They even helped us get our saris ready for a wedding. The food was delicious, and it was lovely to have breakfast outside while looking at the garden.
Raj Mahal Inn is a beautiful hotel located very close to the Wadduwa railway station. Wadduwa Railway Station is about 150 meters away, which is within walking distance.

The place was spotless and beautifully kept, making it feel like a cozy home away from home. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, treating us like part of their family from the moment we arrived.
The food was definitely a highlight—every meal was delicious, packed with fresh flavors that made each dining experience memorable. A big shout-out to the lovely lady who cooked for us; her dishes truly made our stay special (I didn’t catch her name, but her cooking was outstanding!).
Overall, we had a wonderful experience thanks to the perfect combination of a clean, inviting environment, friendly hosts, and amazing food. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Absolutely a nice place in a cool and calm environment. Owners are really a genuine couple husband and wife both treated us like their familly members. Their lunch and breakfast are very delicious and worth for the money. We are planing to be back.

Lake Villa by Carlsen was a lovely place to stay with my family. Breakfast was great and Isuru and Rohitha cooked us some wonderful meals and took care of us during our stay. We definitely preferred their cooking to takeaway. The villa is lovely and modern and has a good family room upstairs with AC and nice views of the lake. Wifi worked well and netflix was active on the TVs. Fishing gear was also available.
