The hosts were really friendly. And the place is really nice and clean. Both washrooms were very spacious and had hot water in it. Every room had a separate A/C. There's plenty of space to park as well. The location is really convenient and close to Matara town. Upon request they provided us a delicious home cooked breakfast for a reasonable price. Had a great stay there.

It was simple and temperature was excellent. My favourite part about being here was the family who runs the place. They are very kind, friendly, made sure I was happy. They brought me fruit when I arrived and coconut water when I was getting ready to check out. They made the most amazing Sri Lankan food and prepared a beautiful presentation for me. The room had a little kitchen set up and they had plenty of water for me. They really went out of there way and I believe it’s just who they are. They have amazing hospitality and treat others with respect and I felt the most welcomed.

this is a hard question, EVERYTHING, I wanted to extend the stay but we already had a place down the coast. it is two beds large bathroom and a kitchen stove and fridge then there is also an amazing porch to eat or tea or relax. this may seem small detail but having good lighting in the villa was so nice. from bright to just a low bulb before bed. the host was responsive and kind could not ask for more. it was a 3 minute walk to the beach. if you have read this far just stop and book you will not regret.

The two bedroom villa is a great option for a family of 3. Best place for relaxation. It has a garden with furniture, sun deck, sea view , far from crowd - no disturbance. Early morning go for a swim in the clean and shallow sea waters which is just 5 steps ahead. Post to sea fun, one can have a bath in the shower area just behind the garden sitting area partially bordered by greens gives you a nice nature feeling. This villa is best for nature lovers . Quite a safe place too if you are solo.
Breakfast, Lunch , Dinner, Snacks, Drinks available if you inform the owner ( Manjula ) well in advance. He is very helpful and cooperative. Food is served on a cute little boat placed in the garden area. Food quality and taste is nice.
350m away polhena beach is there but you will not feel like leaving the villa for even a minute. The location of the villa and the way it is designed and built is just awesome. It's like a stay in the lap of nature.
Manjula offers snorkeling activity. He is an experienced and professional guide in snorkeling. If you need sightseeing tours , tuk tuk to railway station he can arrange it for you.
It's not a hotel with lots of staff. Manjula does everything single handedly and anything you need during your stay, he provides it happily.

This is a perfect hotel for relaxing near the beach with an antique feeling rather than the usual modern hotels in the area. It is conveniently located slightly away from the centre of Mirissa, so you feel more secluded and comfy. Staff were very attentive to your needs, friendly and helpful for any recommendations in the area. Keep in mind that the beach is a rocky reef and does not have much sand for you to sit down and relax, you can however see turtles sometimes come up and swim!
The breakfast, lunch, and dinner options are delicious and have plenty of Sri Lankan and International options. Staff even prepared us a takeaway meal for our drive back to the airport when we left. It's perfect for couples looking to relax and disconnect.

The villa and pool is gorgeous, with stunning views of the ocean. The beds, rooms and kitchen were well stocked with good bedding and kitchen supplies. The caretaker was very helpful with meeting us and showing us where everything was and how to use all the facilities. The restaurants are not close by, but it is a very quick drive or a 15min walk away and not as busy as the surfer town of Hiriketiya.
The location was clean and beautiful. situated in a calm location, closed to Mirissa and Polhena beaches and not far from Matara town and it is walking distance to the Kamburugamuwa Train Station. The villa had two bedrooms, and both were Airconditioned, the kitchen is fully equipped. The Host is a very friendly and kind person. he went above and beyond for attend our needs.
The room was comfortable and very pleasant. We were just a few metres (4?) from the beach and our window looked out to sea. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning very effective. The food was great too. The beach was quiet and pleasant. It was the nicest place we’ve stayed at this price point in Sri Lanka. The manager was so helpful and welcoming, he really cared. Good birding not far from the villa. Highly recommended.
First of all, this is a totally private villa with no neighbors. Located in quiet area in 5 min walk to a less crowded surf spot.
Place is just renovated so everything is new nice and clean.
The host is welcoming and friendly and provided us with all the necessities, helping out with the transfer.
We had a good time just relaxing and having our time with each other in a quiet place.
The property is beautifully designed and the build quality of the villas and rooms is very high. It’s located on an uncrowded beach with few houses and great waves. The owners are the best and most experienced hosts we’ve ever had and made us feel at home and welcome from the first minute we arrived. The staff is super friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel in paradise. Bonus: a superb pool area and heavenly yet affordable massages and great food.
Our stay at the Green Beach Villa was a perfect 10/10. The lush surroundings and eco-friendly design create a serene oasis. Impeccably clean, well-appointed rooms with breathtaking views. The staff's warmth and attention to detail made our experience exceptional. The host was really helpful to not only for the stay at the villa but also to facilitate our tours. A true gem for nature lovers seeking a luxurious escape by the sea. Can't wait to return!
