This place is special. On the outskirts of Kandy (20min with Tuktuk, ca. 330 rupees). Beautiful and well-kept villa overlooking rice-fields, with extra friendly staff, a good room that leaves nothing to be desired. We were invited to join the cooking of our dinner in the outdoor kitchen, which was a great experience, as some ingredients came straight from the organic vegetable garden. The food was SO GOOD, both dinner and breakfast. Lots of flying bats in the evening, accompanied by chill music and an overall lovely vibe. We liked it so much that we came back 2 weeks later, here we got help (and a good price) for a taxi transfer to Nuwara-Eliya.
This is not the right hotel if you want to arrive late, eat out, and leave early the next morning. Thank you Sandy & Team for everything!

Our stay at Taru Villas was wonderful. The historic villa had so much charm and character, making it a memorable place to stay. The staff were incredibly attentive and professional, which made our experience all the more enjoyable.
We loved spending time in the beautiful gardens and taking a dip in the swimming pool, especially after a day of sightseeing.
The meals were another highlight, with delicious dishes made from fresh ingredients.

Sierra Mount Villa is a nice place to stay. I especially adore the friendly Staff. Mr. Steven Served us really well with a pleasant smile. Moreover, we ordered spring hoppers with some curries for breakfast which was super good. It's not a luxury place but it is worth for money.
Fantastic hilltop setting overlooking the river in quieter side of Kandy (but still just 2 kms away from centre), such a beautiful villa with the best pool. Room and bathroom super clean and spacious with very comfortable bed. Staff were great and the food delicious. Additional benefits are the extra sitting areas, library books and yoga room. This was our last stop after 2 months travelling and it was luxurious and so relaxing. Would stay again in a flash.
We were the only guests during our short stay, and the attentiveness from the staff made it feel like our own private villa! It's not like a hotel, with a reception and separate dining room etc. Instead, its more like a luxury home with three guest bedrooms. The pool was the cleanest we've seen. And the Sri Lankan cooking was extremely good! The room was nice and clean too. The staff were always available and very helpful. The area is very quiet. We'd highly recommend!

눀 – I have to say wow first , second when i arrived the staff have a warm welcoming and big smiles , i felt comfortable, the room is so clean and everything is available, snack and water tea and coffee , the view of the villas is unbelievable sooo beautiful , and they make there food from inside the resort which is amazing and fresh food and drinks , its so relaxing and so private villas , i would come again of course , and there is one guy his owner was very good attitude and smiling.I really like how friendly he is and also the uncle :)
