Unique and charming stay in heritage accomodation located on a historic tea farm.
There are only 3 rooms available to guests so we had the place to ourselves most of the time and dined privately.
A lovely garden to sit and read in and take tea, also many options so sit inside the heritage building itself.
Reuben and his staff were extremely kind and enthusiastic.
The chef created amazing local dishes and we had lunch and dinner onsite which was inexpensive.
The location is quite remote so we stayed there and took a tea tour on the farm which was very good and the guide was great. We were picked up from Hatton by a tuk tuk which was a 35min journey.
The setting is really beautiful and the rooms large and carefully decorated.

Raja and Robert were absolutely amazing. Their service was impeccable and the hotel room was very comfortable. The place was very safe and they were looking after us really well. Hotel was very clean including all bathrooms and absolutely affordable. All amenities were available too and they were available at all times. Breakfast was also very nice. 100% recommend this to everyone.

The only positive comment I can make about the property is the presence of the caretaker Selvarag who was an extremely helpful,polite and hospitable gentleman.
His friendliness and hospitality skills is something the owners can surely learn from.

The villa was well located and pretty, although a bit dated but still very clean. We had the room with the garden view which was amazing.

We were so well treated by the lovely staff at this wonderful guesthouse. The food was delicious. The rooms and lounge area are luxurious and so clean. Lots of hot water. A perfect location looking out on rolling hills of tea plantations but a short walk to Hatton. A beautiful garden and they can organise tours or lifts to suit you.
I loved the room with a balcony and views of the tea plantations. I loved the staff. They were very attentive and present at all times. Very friendly and kind. I felt very pampered. And then, being able to walk through the tea fields was a real luxury. The food was delicious and homemade.
Most beautiful staying in Srí Lanka,it wasn't luxury but that touch of the history you should feel it, great kitchen and amazing very kind stuff. Very nice garden and we very enjoyed ourselves walking in tea plantation
the staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. we climbed Adams peak from here and the staff helped arrange a taxi to take us and bring us back and also shown us round the tea fields, told us the history of the tea houses and some information about wildlife in the area.
the food we had here was the best Sri Lankan food we’ve had the whole trip, made fresh for us each evening and so much of it!
the views are also incredible, you can walk to a nearby village too.
Our stay at Harrington Heritage was amazing! Nestled in the midst of tea plantations, the tranquility and relaxation were unparalleled. Despite a small swimming pool, it was a perfect post-Adam's Peak hike soak. The food, especially the local dishes, was fantastic; while the more Western options were slightly less impressive, they were still great. The comfy bed and breathtaking views won our hearts. If you're seeking a serene, nature-immersed, cozy, and clean retreat away from chaos, this is the place for you.
The Villa is situated by the Castlereigh Reservoir, providing spectacular views from every room, like a living painting. The Villa's name aptly reflects the serene ambiance of its surroundings. The staff was very kind and helpful, ensuring our needs were met and the dishes were well-prepared, presenting a pleasing array of diverse flavors.

Traveller’s Villa provides cosy accomodation for a reasonable price with welcoming and helpful owners. House is located in very quite location. There was possibility to have autentic and tasty Sri Lankan homemade food which was super tasty. Owner was always willing to help us and drive us wherever we needed. We felt really good at this place and would recommend it to enyone who likes peace and friendly atmosphere.
