The house has everything needed, a comfy bed, air con, a small kitchen to cook simple menus and a shower with good water pressure.
It is located only 2 min from the beach and directly in the jungle. We could see monkeys, leguans and crabs at night, which was very nice and exciting.
The host is also very nice, he drove us to a docotor when we needed one and organised our trip to Kandy for a good price.
I can definitely recommend this house for nature loving people that want to be close to the beach.

The location for us was great, private, secure, right next to beach with a few places to eat ,ideal.

Location was handy to beach but quiet. House had everything you needed - no air conditioning but fans in each room. Kumudu, the owner , and her family are exceptionally friendly hosts and would do anything for you. We really enjoyed chatting with them. Gihan provides a taxi service if required. We highly recommend taking a look at Blue Bay Island- about 2.5km away. It was stunning and very clean. Great for a day trip and swimming. We ordered a breakfast one morning and we requested egg hoppers and fresh fruit. It was lovely.
Hiriketiya Beach was our favourite spot in SL for taking it easy.

It was a big room with a little kitchen. I was happy with the waterboiler to make my nescafe. We had our own outside terrace. There where sweet cats and you could see monkeys.
There was a bucket for doing laundry in the bathroom. And a lot of mirrors. Fan and musquitonet ofcourse.
It was a short walk to the beach and they explained a lovely shortcut past the lagune.
It was nice that the whole family was involved. Many times it is the mother or the son who is doing it, but here i spoke with everyone of the family at one point.

The best accommodation I stayed in during my three weeks in Sri Lanka. It was excellent value for me and my partner but there are two double rooms and absolutely loads of space making even better value for a group of four.

Surf Bay Villa in Dickwella exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The owner's kindness and generosity were evident from the moment we arrived. Despite a minor setback with breakfast, due to a private matter, he promptly offered reimbursement and ensured our comfort throughout our stay. The villa itself was cozy and inviting, perfectly complementing the relaxed atmosphere of Dickwella. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Surf Bay Villa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat by the sea.
Lohas Villas are spacious, comfortable and looked after by the owners mother who is truly delightful. She is always smiling and is tireless in making sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Situated a little back from the beachside bustle of Hiriketiya it feels like true Sri Lanka. Monkeys in the trees, peacocks roaming the garden and Lilly the dog are your neighbours.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Breeze Bay villa and it was an unforgettable experience. This place is amazing. Owners and staff are so kind and very friendly. The luxurious accommodations, coupled with exceptional service, made my stay truly memorable. Seriously its fully surround by nature and birds are singing morning omg its amazing.
