A big room. The room is cleaned every day. A walking distance from the city centre (a lot of restaurants and shops). 10 minutes from a Bus station by walking. The Bus station for Hahoe village is near - ask the receptionist for bus timetable (trust me you will need it).

The house was beautiful and well maintained. It felt like stepping back in time. The house overlooks a beautiful valley and village. The floor mats were comfortable to sleep on, and the room was warm. The host is welcoming, friendly, and informative about the history and general information about the house and the surrounding areas.

It was a nice property. Very efficient and a nice location in the downtown of Andong. There is a bus stop nearby to be able to get to the Hahoe village quickly. The host was also very helpful and friendly during the stay and was always there when I needed him :).

The breakfast was very good. The host was most helpful. The bathrooms, while detached, were clean and nice. The ambiance of the river and the village was unparalleled!

The staff at Okyeon Jeongsa were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay - they even offered to pick us up from Hahoe folk village as we didn't have a car, and helped us to book a taxi back to the train station when we checked out. The breakfast was delicious and was served in a room with a beautiful view of the river. Me and my family had an unforgettable experience staying in this hanok, and we highly recommend Okyeon Jeongsa to anyone who is looking to visit Andong!

The guesthouse is located in the perfect spot to use it as a base point to visit Hahoe village as it is at walkable distance from the train station and the bus terminal. The ground floor is a nice cat café full with books. It is really cozy and welcoming. Here they serve the included breakfast which features a lot of options. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and equipped with literally everything you might need including all toiletries. They let you use the laundry free of charge.

Host was friendly and shared about his personal anecdotes during check in. A unique experience as it is a traditional hanok stay. The floor and water heater worked well in the winter, and the room was well insulated. It is also located near a bus stop but it is important to be mindful of when the buses stop operating as well. The bus ride to Hahoe Folk Village took 5 minutes.

First of all, the hotel staff was very helpful. The hotel staff arranged three mornings with the same taxi driver for visiting the three key historical points around Andong. The taxi driver was very nice and competent (he showed us beautfiul roads through the rice fields, avoiding the most direct roads). He was speaking only Korean and we were speaking only English or French. But that was not a major problem!!! Indeed in Hahoe village he introduced us to a French speaking Korean staff from the KFCE.
