The house is amazing, with multiple rooms for a large traveling party. Great shared living spaces for our entire group to hang out. Place is very well-furnished with appliances and everything you could need around the house.
Amazing view of the city and the mountains from the balcony. Our host was also super helpful and assisted with reservations at restaurants.

It was a perfect location, having some privacy from
main streets but very short walk to anything we might want to see! Host was very communicative, kind, informative and fair. He offered great recommendations for local places to see and eat!

From the moment we arrived, very early, to leave our luggage, until our departure after a delicious and very moderately priced buffet breakfast, this hotel was just superb. It is right next to the station, so very convenient, but also very quiet. The staff were delightful. The room was spacious, with loads of storage drawers and hanging space. The bed was a dream, with a luxurious, lightweight but warm doona.
Although we mostly communicated through Google translate, everyone was extremely friendly and hospitable. They even drove me to the bus station to help me with a big bag in the snow. Dinners were delicious, a plus since there isn't much open after about 5 o 6pm. The room was large, clean and had plenty of extra space for bags. It's a cool experience to stay in a typical ryokan in a little village.
Welcoming and attentive staff with good English language, extra amenities, very close to the station, exceptional buffet breakfast with wide range of Japanese and western foods. Luxury facilities.
This was a very well priced property at around $90 AUD/ night so we took 2 basic rooms. We are not talking luxury but for that price they provided more than I expected. There were washing machines, dryers and microwaves on our floor as well. And like most hotels in Japan they are looking to be eco friendly while still providing everything you need.
The warm hospitality conveyed by Oshi san and wife, delicious and priceless home cooked meals and the serenity of the surroundings. its basically a quaint village up the mountainside. Even the soba shops in the area serve food from the heart - the quality and quantity of ingredients served is way different from the towns!
Located one minute walk from Nagano Shinkansen station. Simple stay as we just needed a shower, bed, restroom, we were not looking for luxury. Perfect for travel to Matsumoto and surrounding areas. Complementary curry rice, bread, juice, and coffee. The TV had multiple languages, Fire-stick and entertainment was a pleasant surprise to relax after being in the mountains all day.
It was cosy and comfortable - we were on motorbikes and they were parked under the apartment in the dry which was great. We had everything we needed and went for the short walk to nagano village for dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning. We had an issue with the heating but the owner of the property messaged me straight away to get it sorted, so that was appreciated.
The location was a few minutes walk to Togakushi-Jinja, and 6 minutes from Togakushi Shrine Okusha (Main Shrine) The Great Torii Gate.
Friendly staff with newly renovated property. The owner gave me an amazing recommendation to eat at the Nagano Forest Village.
