The house is beautiful and comfortable. The restoration and garden were well thought out. The bathroom is spacious. There is AC in every room. The daily cleaning service with bread and fruit is fantastic. The house is on a quiet street but a quick walk to the train station, restaurants and historic area. We fell in love with Kurashiki.

I liked how the place is quite cozy and have everything we need. From the kitchen, games, the cozy bed, the make-ups, to speaker and chilling sofa. It was quite nice.

This house is located perfectly between some of the amenities near the port and the spectacular museums. It was clean, offered flexible sleeping options and the hosts were very accommodating. The hosts picked us up at the port and dropped us off. The hosts communicated clearly, albeit through google translate so be prepared to have your translator app handy for complex needs.

A beautiful traditional Japanese house with easy access to the beach through its serene garden. I wished we had a couple of days more to enjoy this property.

I’ve stayed at other hotels in kurashiki before that were around the same price. This one was unbelievably better. The location was amazing the food was delicious the room was huge and well furnished. It wasn’t a luxury hotel but I was blown away. Drastically exceeded my expectations. HUGE value for the price compared to other places in the area.
The room is huge and very comfortable! It looks a bit dark on the photos, but it's so much better then that! It's right in the center of the old village, but you won't hear anything from the outside really. The seating area is really nice and we loved the provided breakfast. The kitchen is beautiful and convenient as well. The bathroom is really spacious.
Beautifully furnished. Luke a luxury apartment. Every detail from the choice of ceramic tableware to the tatami flooring made it a very special experience. But for the clumsy person as everything is quite precious, paper screens and pale flooring. The bath and shower are musical and the Japanese toilet a luxurious experience.
Great location, really close to the station, and then an easy walk through the covered marketplace to the historical quarter. The onsen was peaceful and luxurious. They gave a free drink per person, per night, and extra drinks were 100 Yen!
The hotel is in an old cotton mill so the surrounds are very interesting. The room size means you can truly relax, spread out and regroup before the next part of your tour. The blonde wood trimmings and light colours were not only pleasing to the eye but gave the room an open feel. Spacious toilet, wash area and bath gave our room real luxury. Our best stay in four weeks in Japan.
This is the second time we stayed here. Just opposite to a shopping outlet and supermarket, 10 min walk to the JR train station, the place is convenient and with a well equipped kitchen. If you are not aiming for luxury, the apartment really provides a sweet and clean home away from home.
