The house is spacious and thoughtfully designed to take advantage of the views of the forest and gardens surrounding the house. It's in a lovely peaceful neighbourhood, a few minutes walk from Gokurakuji train station. The owners were extremely generous hosts and even invited us to dinner during our stay. We would love to stay again at Gokurakuji House.

The villa was beautiful. We were immersed in artistic beauty, sounds of nature via Spatial Audio, and treated to an exquisite shower/bath room, high tech amenities, and the most comfortable bed ever. At one block from the beach, the location was ideal.
This is a very special place indeed. The staff are so friendly and helpful with anything you need. The rooms are luxurious and really make you feel like you are staying somewhere special. The food is Michelin quality and I highly recommend you make dinner reservations, it was some of the best food we had in Japan.
Everything! Beautiful; attention to detail, very thoughtful luxury touches, location superb. Great for family stays or with friends. I would do a trip back to Kamakura just to stay here again.
The guest house is just a few minutes away from the beach as well as some beautiful tempels and shrines. Hase train station is reachable with a small walk.
It's probably an old villa and thus it has a spacious entrance area where guests can come together, chat and even have some drinks together.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the area was great, right at the beach and close to enoshima .
It's a great choice for one or two nights if you want to travel during the day. It's a normal Japanese house, so no sterile hotel. 1 minute from the station and around 15 min walk to enoshima. The pictures on the page are what you get. No luxury but good, clean basic housing.
A little ways from Enoshima, this hotel was the perfect location to enjoy various regions in the area. We were able to visit Enoshima attractions, were still on the beach front and a very short tram ride to main attractions in Kamakura. The venue itself was beautiful and very comfortable, providing both a luxurious and homely feel. The bar and restaurant are gorgeous and the room was very large by Japanese standards. The breakfast was a highlight for us.
A wonderful villa in a very quiet neighborhood near the beach in Kamakura. Large and clean rooms. High quality Wifi. Five minutes walk from Yuigahama station (use the Enoden line from Kamakura station).
Super friendly atmosphere. We, family with three kids, came to this B&B (more so than hotel) straight from a luxury hotel downtown Tokyo. At Kimie's we slept in comfy beds and had traditional Japanese breakfast, proved to be a bit hard for the kids but good experience.
The whole experience is amazing. The host simply provides the best service even before our arrival and till check out. the design of the villa and it’s view is absolutely stunning. customized vegetarian breakfast is divine! indulge in every detail!
