The premise is well located in this beautiful and peaceful town of Fukusaki. She lays against the sacred mountain, facing the fundamental of Japan: rice field. It is very meaningful.
The building is amazingly reversed and maintained. I can see how much effort Yamada san and local people spent to make sure this historical architecture will be in the best status to demonstrate the local history to the people coming from the world.
The staying experience is fantastic. I and my wife found your hotel on the internet. We were not sure whether this would be satisfying my family. It turned this was one of the best decision in my time as a tourist. We all love the staying here and we all highly impressed by Yamada san meticulous and consistent high level is customer service.
Yamada san is being very responsive from the beginning when we were exchanging info by emails. The SOP (standard operation process) sheet is the the first time that we ever see. Even though we have use the translator from time to time, Yamada san are very patient and are so kind.
Thanks to Yamada san for arranging the tea ceremony. It is impressive experience. And thank you for arranging taxi and guiding us the way to the railway station. Again, the house owner Yamada san is very kind.
We are all impressed by everything. Yamada san takes care of us ^_^very well. If we have more time, we definitely would choose to stay more nights.

The house is 100 years old. It's renovated to modern standard so it's warm and cozy. The place is good for 4-5 people. You will have to inform the owner (via booking chat message) of your arriving time so that the agent will be waiting for you at the property. There are cooking utensils and some coffee and tea in the house but you should walk around and absorb the true Japanese neighborhood. There are some restaurants and coffee shops within 100m. It's fun to stay here.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Modern luxurious hotel very near Himeji castle and next to an amazing street full with restaurants. All amenities were available and the hotel also has a convenient paid car park. Rooms are clean and up to date.
The rooms were quite luxuriously decorated and the beds very comfortable. The location is fantastic and there are many shops and great local restaurants nearby. We also tried the coin laundry service which was good. Compared to other APA hotels, this one stood out in terms of service and quality of the amenities!
Breakfast buffet was very luxurious with an excellent view on Himeji castle.
Good sized room.
Bath, while still small compared to European standards, is quite big compared to other places I stayed at.
The luxurious feel, the big room, very comfortable beds, silence, the bath with sauna, ideal and very close location next to the station.
And probably the best breakfast buffet I ever had: there must be at least 100 things to chose from (Japanese and western style) : from different sorts of bread, bakery things, to different soups, curry, fish, eggs, omelettes, different salads, fruits, donuts, waffles, etc... Breakfast on this 14th floor was truly something special.
The rooms were spacious and had a luxurious atmosphere, all clean and with a fantastic view on Himeji and the castle. The location was very good as it was right on top of the train station. Breakfast was very good as well, with western style options.
