This is a very nice home. It was comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. It is a relaxing place to stay. Nice view too. They had soy sauce, oil, salt and pepper on hand, and left a gift of rice for our use.

My parents came to visit me from America. This was by far the best accommodation they booked for the trip. It was incredibly roomy and the beds were very comfortable (according to them). I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for accommodation in Aso. I will say that I don't know how convenient it is to get to by public transportation because I drove my car. You have a beautiful view of the mountains from the porch/front door. It's very quiet in the area. The house was incredibly clean and well-stocked (plenty of soap/shampoo, tea, and coffee).

The authentic dining and private bath experience, and staying in a property that was apparently a couple of hundred years old belonging to a samurai. A pleasant walk to the property from Aso station surrounded by the Aso mountains and through a quiet Japanese village is memorable.
Amazing onsens (some outside), very relaxing atmosphere in the garden, perfect for a mountain retreat. There’s a free shuttle to Aso station and back every day.
The welcome tea and snack was refreshing. The breakfast was quite alright, no frill and nothing fancy. The property is a 2 storey house at the corner, it was quiet and peaceful. The luxurious and modern bubble bathtub is very enjoyable. It is a short walk from Aso Temple and there are small eateries within 5 mins walk. Ample parking space.
Nestled in the quiet pension village, the views, the facilities and most of all the staff service exceeded expectations. The owner also gave us a car ride till Kumamoto city.

We Like the arrangements & caring attitude. HE ahs prepared a barbeque for us, with many extra stuff.
We felt warm in our heart although it was freezing outside during our stay.
And with freexing temperature , the only Sakura tree outside our village house was in full bloom...
Dinner is exceptionally good with the luxurious buffet spread. Quality of food is also high despite the wide selection. Public bath is very clean and foreign friendly.
