The location is more on the secluded side; not crowded at all. The views were breathtaking and staff was very accommodating (I was able to switch to the oceanside villas which I prefer). Highly recommend if you prefer a more quiet vacation spot.
The staff was very friendly, the Generalmanager Carmen is an amazing nice person and she helps in every situation. The Hotel is right across the road from Rick's Café. Villas sur mer has an own access to the Ozean. Through a tunnel under the road you get to a wonderful little rocky bay, where it is quiet and enjoyable
Moorise villas is the perfect place to stay if you want to be close to the beach and facilities (supermarket, bank, bars, restaurant).
The room is spacious and comes with an extremely comfortable bed.
The whole place is sparkling clean and well maintained on a daily basis.

AC not the strongest but enough to cool in a matter of minutes.

The layout of the rooms/villas were lovely. very peaceful and set amongst beautiful gardens.
The housekeeping was excellent with a lovely towel and flower arrangement on the bed every day
Villas Sur Mer is a lovely hotel in a wonderful spot in Negril. My one complaint is that we expected we'd be staying in a specific bungalow (the one with the curved roof) and instead we were put in the top floor of a duplex. It was fine, but we'd been really excited about the lovely stand alone bungalow and that's why we booked the place. On the plus side, there as a GORGEOUS waterfront view that you get to through an underground tunnel on the grounds of Villas Sur Mer. Truly magical. We spent a lot of time in that spot.
Carmen and all other staff members were great. They were helpful and very responsive. The Villas are super close to Rick’s Cafe and an awesome restaurant across the street.
Absolutely stunning venue and condos/villas. Stayed at Lower Reef and Lower Jungle House. Clean, spacious, comfy and had more than the basic amenities. Direct access to the beach!! Hats off to the chef, front desk, housekeeping and security personnel too for making us feel welcomed! Would definitely return and also recommend. Felt like a home away from home. Very close to other popular locations and major public and chartered transportation too. Also quite close to the town.

The owners, Mark and Lisa are just so wonderful in their approach to hosting their visitors. We really appreciate them.

And…….the birds…the birds! a real symphony of sound. A great environment to ‘retreat’ to.
My husband and I completely enjoyed our stay at Moonrisevillas. Linda was absolutely fantastic. A one night stay ended up being three nights. What was even better we had the whole hotel to ourselves (there was no one else checked in because it was a low season). There was no noise. The wifi was one of the best that I have used in Jamaica. Local restaurants where all walking distance from the hotel. We would definitely stay here again if we where in Negril.
