Spacious, really well equipped, lots of surface space and storage.
We knew there was no AC when we booked and the house remained reasonably cool even in 38 degrees. The outside seating area is a sun trap in the morning and shaded in the afternoon/evening.
The location is as expected, a ten minute drive to the town, 4 minute drive to a supermarket. It's actually a ten minute drive to everything including a dog friendly beach (quite small but still great to have access). Parking is on street but we always managed to get a space. A car is needed for this location.
Hosts were very welcoming.

But words below doesn't enough so I have to say sth here also.For other guests，if you would like your door be opened in the midnight only with doorbell ring, but without your permission, and someone can enter, then go for it.This is another thing I never everexperience.
Before we arrive, we saw on the introduction that the owner can speak English, Italian and other language, so that's the reason we choose that because we are international traveler and cannot speak Italian, I think it's quite normal for an apartment owner,especially they specific that on page.
The information she gave me on booking is written in Italian.And I said I cannot speak Italian and be so sorry for that. Please see my screenshot.Still, she says things in Italian, but I don't think that would be a problem at that time.And booking should have translation function,not her issue or my issue, I also think things fairly.So at that time I thought it would be good.
And before we enter the property, we already realize there is no air conditioner, because I always read full text of the page.But inside the house the first fan is broken, I cannot use it.So I follow her instruction, she said whenever you have any problem call me.So I called her to find some help.But seldom she or her partner can seldom speak English, and repeatedly repeatedly repeatedly tell me the enter code, I'm not foolish, really.
Until then she tell me her father is in hospital.She will not be here until 10.I feel really sorry for her and offer things like we can wait somewhere else to cool down and wait until she came back.

Lovely apartment. Very well equipped and very comfortably furnished. Large comfy bed. Great location for exploring old part of Intra and for walking to Villa Taranto. Free secure parking is a real bonus. Aurora is incredibly helpful and friendly and sorted everything out perfectly.
Wonderful stay. Nice view. 4mins walk to the ferry pier for isola madre and isola bella. Very close to Villa Taranto. Lovely staff. They were helpful especially with accomodating our young daughter.
The host was wonderful. The apartment was well appointed with wonderful views of the lake. It was well positioned for restaurants and bars and close to the ferry for the islands and other villages around lake Maggiore
Super nice team, great value for money, superb location right at the lake and with loads of restaurants around. Very quiet, cozy place in the middle of the village. Breakfast was very good at a very reasonable price.
We felt right at home! Very well located with free parking. You can visit all islands and villages of Maggiore lake by boat from the pier nearby. The bedrooms are very comfortable, spacious, super clean and they have a very good shower. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Super breakfast prepared by George was perfect for us.
