Traditional but modern interior which includes some furniture pieces hand made by the host Alessandro who has been wonderful with us. I'm a frequent traveller who loves to explore beautiful natural places that give me access to great locations. I chose La Malcontenta e il Lupo chose because it had everything I was looking for and more. It is part of an agritourism, which means it's a sustainable type of travelling, in contact with nature, that's good for the environment and supports local businesses.
I'm environmentally conscious and love animals, so I was excited to find out there is a bird viewing hut, which was fantastic to see the little birds without disturbing them.
The hosts were very warm and charming and answered all my questions on the surrounding areas.
The interior of the Villa is designed in a traditional style that evokes a strong sense of what it was like to be in Umbria back in time. It is also equipped with all the amenities I needed.
I highly recommend, I know I will definitely be returning again with my family for a peaceful getaway. The villa is located near the Tibet River Park, the ancient medieval town of Todi, and the gorgeous, picturesque town of Orvieto.
I had a car, but I also know I can get a bus from Todi to places like Perugia or Rome.

Everything was incredible, we loved our stay a lot! The house is very cozy, clean and decorated with much love, you have everything you need and even more (there was coffee, tea, and even brioches for breakfast when we arrived!). The location is splendid: so calm and peaceful, we wish we could stay longer! And last but not least, the hosts were the warmest and loveliest, a beautiful family who will show you what the true Italian hospitality looks like. We would love to go back again and stay longer!

The flat is located in the old town, It's like being in a medieval castle. Very exciting :)
I made a mistake with the reservation, which could have caused a problem.
But they were very nice, they didn't even let me know that I made a mistake (as a result, I didn't realize it right away).

The property is nestled in the heart of Umbria, perched on a hill with breathtaking views. Despite the summer heat (around 38°C), we could comfortably spend time on the terrace until 1:00 PM and again in the evening. We enjoyed unforgettable moments watching the sunset and the star-filled sky. The proximity to the pool and the ability to use it at any time was a huge plus. The apartment is styled in true Italian fashion, with every detail reflecting the essence of Umbria—wooden furniture, a fireplace, brick flooring, terracotta pots, and Deruta ceramics. Beautiful and spotless.
The place is very peaceful and intimate, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Perfect location right on the square which was easy to get to using the free shuttle bus from a parking lot below the city. Beautiful house with great views and large terrace. Spacious and luxurious room with a clean bathroom. Good breakfast with personal service. Super friendly host who helped us book a table at a restaurant the same night we arrived.
Beautiful place, just felt like your own private special home. The grounds were so special with a beautiful swimming pool, during our stay I was the only person using it. The food was delicious and nothing was to much for the very friendly staff. Mozart was great entertainment and we loved chatting to him each day.

The swimming pool area is excellent. For very old country villa then many things have been maintained very well, there are new windows with net, most of the beds are quite good. Main bathroom also quite new.
Very peaceful, idilic location, perfect if you are looking for a quiet getaway from the city and the crowds. This quaint village houses only 30 people and looks like a set of a romantic movie.
Breakfast was fantastic; views 360 degrees of pure heaven, rolling landscape and beautiful Todi (hilltop village) right in front of you. Staff were warm and welcoming and dinner exceptional. Felt a little tired and pool freezing... otherwise a truly magical hotel and one i would recommend time and time again.
Large villa with amazing swimming pool, tenis table, badminton, football table, very quiet area close to good vineyards and shops, nespresso machine, well equipped kitchen, caretakers live on site we didn't need any help but it is good to know to have some in case of any need. External fireplace and pizza stove are just perfect addition.
