Big, very clean and comfortable apartment. Nicely furnished. Good air conditioning. Walking distance to station and old town. The apartment is in a nice quiet area. Lovely views from both bedrooms.
Very generously stocked with everything you could possibly need. Very generous supplies of breakfast things. Rita and her husband were excellent hosts, helpful and available.

Walking on Camino di Francesco, we very much enjoyed this nice room in a very old, historic building. Everything was very clean. Nazzaro was so lovely and attentive. He made sure we could have dinner in the village and we took the best foccacia ever with us for lunch. Grazie mille :-)
Great location, charming house with very comfortable rooms, possibility to dine on site (good, but expensive for not a lot of quantity), pool / very nice garden, honesty bar allowing self service to enjoy an appetizer nearby the pool. This is a proper 4-star hotel with the luxury you would expect. Excellent location on the edge of the Old Town. Large room, with a magnificent outlook over the surrounding countryside.
This is the second time we stayed. The property has a lot of history and the owner is part of the history. The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything you needed. The very best Nazzaro picked up beer from local store to make our arrival from the hike even better. He drove and arranged pickup to:from local restaurant. Breakfast had everything you wanted both salt and sweet, eggs and good coffee to set us up for the next day hiking. I keep coming back to Villa Cardinale, it is always a family feeling and warmth to the place.
We visited during a VERY cold snap and the heating was on!!! It was glorious and a real luxury after our previous night when the host had no heating. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom, although not new, certainly spotlessly cared for. I also loved the feeling of hospitality and love that you can only get in a religious location where nun's are very evident
Nazarro was an incredible host - from the second we arrived in the village he made us feel welcome, guided us to the place and organized dinner on the way!
The breakfast was amazing with freshly made Foccacia!
A wonderful stay at the Villa on my "Via di Francesco". The Villa is between Trevi and Spoleto in Poreta and is a great place to relax in rural italy after the busy Towns. Beautifull Villa with a very spacious room. The host is very helpfull and offered me the choice of either have a local make me a simple diner or bring me to a restaurant. I did chose the simple dinner (bread, tomato, egg, vegetable pie) which was a delight.
