The hosts were super nice and even surprised us with New Years presents. The Försterhütte was spacious for four people, we cooked our own meals - all kitchen equipment was in excellent order and of high quality. The shower in the huge bathroom is a dream! We also enjoyed the floor heating and sat on the floor out of fun many hours. Directly in front of the house you can start hiking trips, eg down to the city of Merano. The view from the house and the garden is spectacular. The mountain glow in the morning was a lovely view while still laying in bed. We will come back!

The location is unique with a beautiful view and multiple terraces around the house to have a seat. You have the whole place for yourself and the house has everything you need. You can walk through the forest, uphill to the cable car or downhill to the river, starting directly at front door. It is a perfect place to come to a rest and enjoin nature, with for example little deer passing by at sunset.

A real slice of heaven. Super nice secluded location but with ability to get fresh bread and other basics delivered by cable car. The little hamlet also has a great restaurant within 5 minutes walking distance (also open for coffee/treats at 8am). The location high up the Hill is breathtaking. And ability to ride câble car for free is a plus (the road up/down is a bit twisty). Nice play area for kids and ability to do a BBQ is a plus. Super comfy beds and well appointed apartment. Can't say enough of how good our stay was.

Spectacular countryside and Schenna is a wonderful village well prepared to accommodate travellers. The owners went to a lot of trouble for their guests and were very responsive to any questions we had.
Everything was really great. The villa was amazing and had a great view. Very close to the ski resort, about 5 minutes drive with the car. The host was very friendly and helpful during our stay, Any problems we had he always made time to come over and fix it. Great place and very much recommendable!
A very cosy place overlooking the valley, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast on the terrace, wine and prosecco from the own vineyard at the pool, daily recommendations for restaurants. A little outside the village therefore no noise and more space. Meraner Höhenweg und Meran 2000 for hiking reachable by car in a few minutes, Waalwege in front of the door. Should have stayed longer.
The hotel is located in the hilly village of Schena close to Meran. This location offers exceptional views over the surrounding mountains and vineyards. Our room was facing west so sunsets were on the daily menu. :) The rooms are new and spotless. The wellness area is great with very well equipped gym. You can really feel the hospitality of the owners! We have also tried the grill buffet and it was splendid. I honestly recommend this great hotel.
