Carmela, the host, is extremely kind and helpful. She got out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. While the page says Italian is the only spoken language, this should not discourage foreigners (like us) as we managed to communicate perfectly fine with Google Translate. The host is artists and we really loved her gift of a painted stone that she painted herself.
The place is beautiful and peaceful, but it's a walkable distance to the village, which has a supermarket and great restaurants. The house is well-equipped and the furniture inside is beautifully painted. Ideally you need a car to come here as there is no public transport at the moment, however there a few local taxi services. Probably the most sensible way to get here is take a train to Agropoli and then rent a car locally (vs. rent a car from somewhere afar like Naples). While very much rural, you could just stay in the local area and you would be more than fine regarding food and sights to see (e.g. Rocca Cilento), however the beaches in nearby villages are too nice to miss. Local wine is excellent. There is a cute cat on-site and a donkey-wild boar duo lives just nearby. Our kid loved the animals and the toys (e.g. slide) around.

The Casa Vacanza Villa Aurora is run by a husband and wife team and they are particularly welcoming. We were only able to stay two nights as the property was booked up for the rest which shows how popular it is. We stayed in a family “suite” which consisted of two rooms and was very comfortable. Although the restaurant is driving distance from restaurants, on both nights the host offered delicious food options, home made pizza in their wood oven and a choice of BBQ, both of which were delicious! We travelled with two teenagers but there were much younger children staying there so suitable for all ages. There were plenty of options for beaches and other points of interest within driving distance.

It was in a very familiar atmosphere, maybe not for people who prefer not to be seen or you don't wanna hear other guests. But it's so family like, it din't bother us at all.
The privat stairs to the beach without crossing any streets and the privat parking area are a real luxury on this very popular coast.

A lovely stay with a marvellous breakfast, full of homemade stuff! Highly recommended! The garden is very beautiful too, where one could stay and relax. The Villa is located just a stone's throw away from the village core and the sea.
The host Alberto was extremely kind and available for all our needs during the stay. He went out of his way to make sure we knew we could contact him about anything and he was both attentive and good company.
