The view from the front patio is very nice. We enjoyed the patio along with a glass of wine every evening of our stay. We bought a weekly buss pass which worked out amazing. The bus stop is close to the property and we were even able to take it to the train station when we left for Rome.

Everything is exceptional about this apartment. First of all, owner was so polite and helpful, he sent us a video with instructions how to get to apartment and how to get in - so easy, you can't mistake. You get a private parking spot for your car and the best thing about apartment is garden terrace in front of it. It is very beautiful and we enjoyed staying at Casa Planet in Rapallo.

This property is absolutely perfect! From the olive trees surrounding the property, to the million dollar view from the upper terrace, this stay did not disappoint. And it only gets better..
The property owner Walter is a true professional host. Walter set us up with amazing sangria and quick food bites to begin with. Walter also prepared traditional pesto with us on the roof top and paired with local wines.
The pièce de résistance was the incredible dinner menu and wine paring Walter prepared for us and served on the private terrace watching the sun set over the Mediterranean sea.
I honestly can’t say enough about the experience Walter has cultivated at his property.
Wow, just wow.

Great hospitality and a lovely reception from the staff. The room was very nice with a spacious bathroom and a surprisingly large shower area. It really felt luxurious to stay there. Did not try the breakfast so can’t comment on that.
It was great, the Villa was clean, with air conditioner, great breakfast and very friendly personal. I was feeling like home. Also the emplacement of the Vila is at about 3-4 minutes by walk from the center city.
We stayed in all the 5 star hotels in this area excelsior, imperiale and Miramare is definitely the best! It’s much more luxurious and everything is newer. Amazing breakfast, swimming pool, hotel, beach and the view from the sea view room is absolutely crazy.
Very beautiful historical villa - perfect combination of historical interiors of palace and modern bathrooms and other devices. Very good location with not long stairs leading right to the center of town and beach. The view from the Delux rooms and terraces is unbeatable! Fantastic! The hosts were caring and very friendly. Beautiful green territory and home made breakfasts. Our stay at this villa costed every cent we spent! And they have their own parking.
Very classy hotel and wonderful staff that were extremely accommodating to our family with two young kids. The location was very central and within walking distance from everything. Having visited the Cinque Terra villages and Portofino while in the area, I would most certainly choose to stay in Santa Margherita Ligure again. It has all the charm and elegance without the tourist madness--we visited in late June. Most tourists here seemed to the Italians, which was very nice. The pool was excellent and the supporting staff was super attentive.
The location, staff and the Villa/hotel itself were fabulous it was like staying with family. Wonderful rooftop pool overlooking the harbour. The breakfast was the best on our two month trip through Europe and always served by great people who have been well trained.
Villa 1900 has to be one of our favourite places we’ve stayed so far this trip. Villa 1900 was spacious, clean and very close to the main part of town. It is located in such a gorgeous building with much charm. Dante was extremely welcoming and showed us how everything worked as well as suggesting great restaurants in town and ways to get around.
Breakfast was delicious with such a great variety of delicious foods.
My only complaint is we didn’t stay longer.
Can’t wait to return again hopefully one day.
Such excellent little Villas perfect for a weeks stay around the Ligurian coast. Walking distance to the town centre and the beach and not much further to the train station. Breakfast was wonderful and Dante and Paola were very accomodating and helpful with all our needs during our time both close and abroad for activities to do.
Perfect location overlooking the bay with outside terrace and comfortable public rooms inside. Extensive and tasty selection for breakfast, nice to get a pot of coffee (rather than from machine). Comfortable bed, helpful and welcoming staff. Outside private pool would be fabulous in the summer.
The location close to the railway station allows for short day trips to the Cinque-Terre which we would recommend over staying in these villages. also there is a good walking route to Portofino (and you can take the bus back) from Santa Margherita.
