A great apartment with everything you need and a comfy bed and couch, heaps of space. 2 floors up so be prepared for the stairs up to the apartment (nothing unusual when travelling through Europe) It has a parking space available about 10 mins walk which was handy, however it would be easier accessed for those arriving by train rather than a car.
It's location downtown is super close to everything which is great, this also means you'll hear the local bars but ear plugs are provided to assist if you're a light sleeper.

The house is recently renowated with the best quality materials with the designer eyes of the Architect owners. It is located 2-3 km off the center on a less densely populated hillside surrounded by olive trees and natural vegetation. The owners came to show everything and gave over the key by themselves. For us it is very positive when someone is interested in the tenants, as I am always happy to meet the owner, whose house I'am living in. We were given excellent tips where to eat, what we should visit etc. In tourist frequented locations it is a great adwantage to find the real local gastronomy where you get real value for your money. We stayed in the house with three kids, but two couples could also have their privacy as well as common places.

Everything! The unique setting and feeling like you have stepped back in time to a bygone era. The wonderful sense of history. The genuine friendliness and warmth from Marina who welcomes you into her home not as a paying guest but as if you were a friend. As great as Marina's home is, the experience is elevated to the next level by Maria's hosting skills. We spent a glorious 6 nights at Villa Olimpo and celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversry whilst there. We couldn't have asked for better.
No actual parking at villa . Parking about 300 mtrs down road. Very steep climb to villa then quite a few steps to accommodation. That was excellent, very clean and terrific views .
Only a couple of minutes walking distance from the train station. Lift to all floors. Super nice surrounding right in the middle of the old part of Rapallo, very close to the sea, the old castle, many nice shops and restaurants.

Super nice walks along the beach and if you like to walk it is accessible to get to Santa Margerita, which has many good restaurants and better beaches, and the famous little village Portofino. There are also busses to get to these villages.
It is a spectacular and wonderful villa. The rooms are modern and the highest standard, with every luxury. The host is delightful and very welcoming. After weeks traveling in Europe this is the finest place we’ve stayed. A 10 rating does not do it justice, and it should be an 11 or higher. It is absolutely quiet for a good night’s sleep, and the views are amazing. We would love to stay more than two nights, but Florence, Tuscany, and Rome beckon, but we won’t find any place as good I’m sure. Thank you!
Very good maintained villa from the late 19th century in great location with view of the Gulf of Tigullio. Marina, the host of Vila Olimpo, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great as well and prepared after our request. We had a pleasant stay and the time travel along with staying in this historic villa was a great experience.

This is a gem.We really enjoyed our stay with Marina in her historic family villa. The house will take you back in time and the bedroom is huge. Our terrace faced south and had a sea-view. We felt so welcome and this property has a lovely ambience.Marina was always helpful and accommodating.She provides a very varied tasty breakfast which suits all tastes.
We loved her family home which is steeped in history.
After three nights in Villa Olimpo, Rapallo we felt relaxed and ready to continue our travels.
This is a charming historical villa with lovely views. The location is great within walking distance to a beach or the city centre. The ladies running this hotel are caring and friendly. We especially liked the breakfast room with gorgeous windows looking on to green slopes and villas.
