4 of us stayed in Villa Martiner 6 nights for a glorious stay in this breathtaking spot in Ortesei. Monika our host was generous and thoughtful. The house has beautiful wood molding, superior finishes, a fantastic dine-in kitchen, an elegant dining room, clean luxurious bathrooms and just wonderful space all around. One thing we noted is that the location of the house, up on the hill, above the town, provides not only gorgeous vistas, but that the sunny location kept us on the bright side of life the entire time. We did not have a car, so found ourselves getting invigorating exercise trekking up and down the hill. Never cracked the bus route, but did realize (and had a big laugh over the fact) the escalator from the town square to Seceda drops us off right near the house. Monika recommended a wonderful restaurant, Snetonstube, and gave us bus and spa passes. We loved our stay and would have been happy to move in and never check out, quite frankly.

The Villa Martiner has the best view i have ever seen.
it is a 10 minute or so walk into the middle of the town and you can easily walk to the Seceda, Alpe de Susi, and Resciesa lifts.
Monica was an extraordinary hostess. The is a very kind and understanding person and it made our stay extra special.
The location is beautiful and very unique, with a castle-like turret offering fantastic views from some of the corner rooms. As a bonus, while in town, you can easily pick out the villa from the hillside which might be useful to figure out what path to take up the hill to get back to the villa.
We stayed on the middle floor, which i think is called Alex. This is a very good spot for families or larger groups because it has multiple bedrooms, kitchen and other facilities of home.

The location, facilities, and staff were phenomenal. We booked just for a trip to Seceda and the region. Walking distance to the gondola, views of the village and surrounding mountains, and parking on site. The restaurant is fantastic. Easy check in and check out. Kind employees who provided tips on the local area.

Amazing apartment and lovely views. Awesome host. Modern, new, fully equipped, cosy, and family-friendly place. Highly recommended for anyone visiting north Italy. Location is near to many many wonderful attractions and villages all minutes away by car or bus. Wonderful memories and definitely worth re-visiting. The hospitality of Rita and her husband was exceptional. The room was luxurious even while located in a family home. The breakfast was phenomenal, varied and delicious.
This hotel was a lovely sanctuary in the mountains. We stayed in summer and it was a perfect stroll down to the village. Max 10 min walk.
The facilities were great. The pool and spa area were perfect after a full day of hiking.
They also organised some free activities during the week which I’d recommend doing.

It was wonderful to have a well appointed, clean apartment after a couple of weeks living out of hotel rooms. The apartment is in a great location - there is a supermarket very close and it was a short walk to the shops, restaurants and bus station. The manager is very accommodating and we were able to get laundry done by the villas at a reasonable price. You also get a free bus and pool pass as part of the price. Would highly recommend.
