The view was beautiful. The location grants a lot of peace and quiet - bar the barking of neighborhood dogs, but that didn't annoy us with the windows closed. If however, you're very sensitive to barking and want to have the doors/windows open, for example during Summer time, just know what you'll be faced with.
The house is quite big and has all the basics you'd need and expect from a private home.
The host replies very quickly to queries, even had the neighbors - who were very friendly! - stop by to fix an issue for us.

This was the best location I have ever been. Patrzizia and Gigi are the some most helpful, kind, welcome and warm-people I have ever met. Magica Vercio really is a very, very special place, where everything is literally perfect.

Villa Selva is one of the nicest, if not the nicest property I have ever visited. The apartment is spacious, immaculate, and well-equipped and nothing beats that view of Lake Maggiore. The garden is private and beautiful just like the nature surrounding it. Carol is more than helpful and you can inquire with her about everything you need. Warmest recommendations to everyone visiting Lago Maggiore!
Great location. Vey nice view over the lake. The Junior suites were very nice and certainly big enough. Breakfast was sufficient and most important fresh. Staff was very friendly. Tried to help in any way possible. Boats to discover the lake as well as vespa's to discover the surrounding villages and streets are available for rent.

Casa Acquerello was a great little apartment above the small village of Ghiffa. It makes an excellent base to stay for a few days and see the whole area. The host is very attentive and generous, he left beers and wine in the fridge and was accommodating with us arriving a little early. The kitchen has everything we needed, so we mostly cooked our own meals here which was a good break after eating out all the time.
Wonderfully located villa with a fabulous view over the lake. Nothing was missing, perfect place. The owner tried very hard and gave us very good restaurant tips.
We were lucky to stay one night of our 2 nights stay completely alone in the villa.
Paola is a great host, everything was carefully prepared for enjoying the place. Even it was freezing outside, the room and bathroom were well heated as well as other spaces in the villa.

The apartment was very clean and perfectly equipped, with amazing lake view and beautiful garden around the villa. The owner Carol was very nice and helpful, she gave us perfect tips for tourist attractions.
Apartment is in gorgeous old villa, beautifully and tastefully renovated to a very high standard. View of the lake is stunning - sitting on the balcony for breakfast or sundowners is perfect. Gardens are lovely and perfect for dogs.
Carol is a perfect hostess, providing great recommendations for trips and restaurants. Will definitely go back - when it's a bit cooler!
