The hut seems recently renovated, inside everything is done with big attention to detail and mid-to-high category furnishings, not the cheap stuff you usually find. Two floors, two big bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, kitchen is very well equipped, bbq and fireplace are awesome. We spent a few nights with a small kid as well, the host prepared both the cot and a chair to mount on the table. Big lawn in front with great view of the mountains, parking place for the car and plenty of room to hang around the bbq. For us all aspects exceeded expectations, I'd definitely recommend and come back!

I like every thing it located just 1 min to the waterfall, super beautiful view, nice and kind landlord, every thing was perfect.

We travelled by rail from the UK so it was great to arrive at such a well-equipped house. We loved the view and the relaxed pace in Mergozzo.

Very spacious, safe and clean. A classic old Italian building tastefully refurbished in a luxury modern style. The bed is comfortable and the place quiet for good sleep. The owner is extremely helpful and communicative.
The location is ideal - 3 mins from the station from where you can take day trips to Switzerland. Also the old town, 5 mins walk, is beautiful and historic with lots of great bars and restaurants. And a fab market on Saturdays. Highly recommended.
Great location, 5 minutes from train station and right in the heart of old town! This is a lovely spacious 700 year old building with great renovations. Best bed, pillows and shower in weeks of travel. Large room and very nice dining area for breakfast. I would not call this a continental breakfast. It was more like a 5 course meal. We couldn’t believe the dishes just kept coming. Amazing variety of fresh fruits. I definitely recommend this lovely hotel and village!
This property was located in the town square of the historical section of the quaint little village of Domodossola. Restaurants, shops etc were therefore literally at your doorstep. It was also beautifully maintained and very comfortable.
Staying at Andrea's place was an absolute delight! Andrea, a master ceramicist, has not only decorated his charming home but also a significant part of the village, giving it a unique and enchanting character. He took us on a wonderful tour around the village and even gave our kids a fun and educational session on mosaic techniques. What an incredible experience! Highly recommend!
We loved Domodossola. La Motta was just the right place for us to stay. Everything was convenient, as to organise our local bus and train trips to the nearby valleys for our dayly hiking tours, or to wander around in the charming old city with plenty of shops and restaurants with good food. The bed was really comfortable and the nights completely quiet. What a luxury. Worth to come back.

Our stay in the quaint village of Domodossola was wonderful. The village was alive with the polenta festival when we arrived with so much fun spilling into the otherwise quiet and peaceful area. The location for Domus Residence was perfect and the customer service was kind. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable--and the price was unbeatable. Great location for exploring further into Verbano-Cusio-Ossola.
