The house is a fantastic place with direct view of the harbor, located on a small hill right next to Napoleon summer villa (5 min walk). Surrounded by a beautiful and well-kept garden, provides a lot of privacy and close proximity to Portoferraio. The host (Christina) was available on the phone, while Germana and her husband were available on site. What wonderful couple they are! Full of energy, good humor and very helpful! They made our stay very pleasant over the xmas break and made us feel like at home. House has all amenities, including dishwasher and outside grill. All is simple, elegant and easy to use. High quality large refrigerator and dishwasher. Parking for car is right next to the house on a separate driveway. Beds were very comfortable and large. Ideal for families or group of friends. House can be heated in the off season. Truly a charm that made our trip to Elba unforgettable.

Was met by the owner to hand over the keys and show us around. The owner couldn't have been more gracious, even given some tomatoes from the garden. Beach was just round the corner as was the shops and restaurants but very quiet from any noise. We had all that we needed for our stay including a dedicated parking space just up the road.

It's amazing place to stay. House is surrounded by diverse nature that you can find on island of Elba. From one side you have mountains view, which you can enjoy straight from jacuzzi at evening or from roof terrace while having a breakfast. On other side you have great view of Portoferraio bay.

Nice clean apartment. In a small village in the mountains, you need a car/ scooter for shopping, trips or beach. Sufficient equippment, including wasching machine. No dishwasher and kettle, if anybody mind.

The village is lovely and we were excited to live in one of the typical Italian houses. The view from the bedroom is very nice too. The flat is OK and newly furnished. The kitchen is well-equipped.
