Alessia was a wonderful hostess, full of enthusiasm, advice and practical help. She provided a warm welcome and had prepared the property beautifully. The property and its location were amazing. There were stunning views over the valley from the terrace and a wonderful array of birds and scenic landscapes to enjoy. Bobbio town was a short walk down the hill (though a longer walk back up again!), and was a really pleasant place with historic buildings, great dining options and relaxed happy feel. There were other beautiful places to explore nearby and swimming in the river under the historic town bridge was great!

It is a very specific beautiful place in the middle of nature, with a view of the valley. The host was very nice and helpful. The place is quite remote. For some people, it can cause problems. The walk to the town is about 3 km. You are going back uphill. This can be a problem for some people, but it was fine for us.

You can go to the winery (Conte Vistarino, an unique family vineyard which existed since the 17th century and whose lands were never divided nor sold during wars etc. They are in their original form with old farmers houses across them and the now deserted count’s castle). You can walk around the village too 😊 Good food, friendly neighbors, time to spare : that is what you will get 🍝 🍷 🥩

Everything! Giovanna and Paolo were extremely welcoming. By the end of our stay we felt like old friends. The bedrooms, homemade breakfasts, grounds and views from the grounds were all fantastic. It was also a short walk to the village of Bobbio.

Very comfortable and peaceful villa with a stunning view, a few minutes drive or a 20 min walk to the old town of Bobbio. Alessia went out of her way to make us feel welcome and provide a personalized service. We would definitely book this one again.

Easy access by car to The Old Bridge, so you can cross it to BOBBIO, a charming small medieval village across the river.
The host is super helpful and friendly (lives just next door). The loft is in a fantastic location in the center of the village and is very comfortable and nicely appointed.
Great location up on a hill surrounded by nature an beautyful views. Walking distance down to the the old Devils bridge that lead over the river in to the beautyful mid eval town of Bobbio.
