We simply felt welcome. As if we knew the owner, Erla, and she left the house for a while so that we could move in for our stay. The house was absolutely clean, nicely decorated, cosy, with comfortable beds, stylish furniture and generously equiped kitchen. It also has a terrace with a grill. The grocery shop is just a kilometer or so away, there is plenty room to park your car(s) in front of the house. We enjoyed our stay to the max.

Me and my (now) fiancé, stayed in this wonderful apartment for a weekend trip in Reykjavik. It was a beautiful property that was incredibly welcoming, with thoughtful little touches that made a special trip even more special.
Our hosts were incredibly helpful while I was organising the trip as they were able to facilitate my special requests for the proposal I had planned. They also provided local information and recommendations which were really great (Sushi Social was amazing!) and they helped everything to go smoothly.
The accommodation was beautifully presented, with stylish decor and a modern, homely feel. The bathroom was really cool with a walk in shower and some toiletries were provided. The property had excellent facilities and it was very clean, private and welcoming.
It is in a perfect location, only a short walk from the places we wanted to visit in Reykjavik and the on street parking outside the property (P2 zone) was reasonable and convenient.
Overall, it was an excellent base for us to explore the many locations that Reykjavik, and Iceland, have to offer. Can’t thank you enough for facilitating everything and making this special trip go smoothly.

Very good located in the centre of Reykjavik. Good equiped appartment with a luxurious vibe. The persons at the hotel lobby where very helpfull and friendly. Enough space for a family of eight persons. We recommend this appartement to everyone with a big family.

Accommodation in Iceland, especially Reykjavik is very expensive so we very much managing our expectations. 101 Guesthouse was very good value compared to other nearby places and was a very pleasant place to stay. It's not super luxurious but everything was clean and tidy and the staff were really helpful.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpfull and gave us great tipps. The hotel is clean and on a great spot. It's not a luxury hotel but there is everything you need for a stay in reykjavik.
A wonderful stay in a magical city. This apartment is centrally located to the main Street, cafes, bus stops. It was spacious enough for our family of 4 and a lovely retreat after a busy day of sightseeing in Reykjavik. There's a Bonus shop nearby to grab groceries/fruit for simple meals , easy to pull something together in this well stocked kitchen. We were provided clear instructions on how to access the apartment, it was clean and had all basic essentials.

Absolutely beautiful, small studio apartment within the Villa. Beautifully designed, clean, comfortable, ideal location in downtown Reykjavík close to all the fun spots. Lots of extra touches, including a converter for my plug, which I was desperate for and had not been able to find it any of the local stores.
The location of this hotel is perfect. In the center of Reykjavik not far away from harbor and the main shopping road and all important sightseeing opportunities. The hotel itself is OK. There is no luxury but the bed is OK, the pillows are Ok, the bathroom is OK. It is a place to sleep over not to spend the day there. There is a fridge included in the room which is great. Breakfast is included and offers a good choice. Coffee could be better.
