No food is available within 5 km. even coffee, tea is not available. ceiling fans are very close to ceiling so no air is from the fan even though it is running. in summer without AC is very tough in Wayanad, its so hot and their fan is also waste. In short one can be at john villa for first time that too only because of their pictures and never again go there for second time, pictures of room looks so attractive and looks larger but actually not like that. Bathroom was in bad smell.
Stunning room , we stayed in a pool villa which was amazing. The food was excellent. We are in the room every evening . Staff could not do enough to help you . The jeep tour was fantastic and so informative . There was no alcahol but the staff drove out to get us a bottle of wine . The local Indian red which I have to say was a really good wine .
I stayed for 2 days..1 day in tree house and 1 day in pool villa..tree house is an experience..choose it only for the experience..sleep is going to be disturbed with the frequent movement of Asian civets..( Most likely)..pool villa is luxury..infinity pool with the view towards the Plantation is mesmerizing..overall must visit resort in Wayanad..can relate it to tall trees in munnar...
Beautiful property, with elegant villas, curated gardens and infinity pool. Enjoyed the specially curated lunch and dinner meals. walks around the property or just soaking in the sun are very relaxing and rejuvenating. had a great time and were very well looked after by the hospitable staff.
