New and beautiful house in a quiet location with large rooms with private bathroom and excellent wifi connection; large and beautiful garden. When we arrived, Angchok's son and brother, welcomed us. Sonam, Angchok’ brother, helped us with many things and gave us excellent advice and directions for our treks. Sonam has an agency and it may be useful to stay at Angchok and have Sonam organize the trips and treks. From the house you can easily walk down to the Indu river park or up to the village of Saboo.

Beautiful Location, quaint village, lovely room with running water and room heating, food was great! Host was very helpful with every request and trip planning. Homestay very close to market. Bonus are the cats always gamboling about the property.

A Home away from Home , I was cared like a baby when I fell ill , the staff is exceptional in services, which is obvious that they follow the instructions from the owner or manager in charge . If you are looking for luxury, there are many other places in Leh, but if you are looking for care and a feel of belonging, stay nowhere else . Food is freshly made , you are always greeted with a smile , everything is simple and straightforward, if looking for fancy stuff go elsewhere, if looking for a great host stay here .

The hotel was immaculately clean, comfortable, and well-located in a village within walking distance of Leh Market. The owner, Gonbo, was incredibly hospitable, from offering fresh mint tea when mint was harvested in the garden to making a bonfire at night. With many years of experience as a travel guide, he arranged our inner line permits and drivers and offered valuable advice about local places and food. The balcony from the room had a great view of the castle, Shanti Stupa, the garden, and the mountains. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and spacious rooms, although a couple of maintenance issues. The breakfast was really great, although we had to wait quite a while for it. The highlight was really the balcony looking out on the garden! The only issue was that it was incredibly loud at night. Doors slamming, loud voices, next door restaurant blaring music. Hundar is such a quiet village but that is not the case in this property sadly!

Friendly and helpfull staff. The hotel is situated appr 1 km from the center in a quiet nabourhood. We could deposit our luggage during our trekking tour. A good retreat while adapting to the sudden height after arriving by plane.

Very well designed and maintained property with all amenities and services. Amazingly helpful couple who run the place and extremely polite staff. The hotel is no less than any luxury place in a top tier city.

We stayed in the two villa rooms. They have a lovely joint balcony and are perfect to combine for a family. The linens are soft and the shower has an electric heater for hot water. We used the affiliated Ecological Footprint to plan our trek to the Markha Valley. Stanzin hired friendly and skilled guides and crew. The staff made the trek fun and the food on the trek was was excellent.
