My family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children) loved everything about Woodlands cottage. The home was spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean and modern. The garden and swimming pool were like an oasis in the city. The best part about the stay was the hospitality and kindness shown to us by Nikhil and his family. Nikhil’s mom Pinky took good care of us by helping us tidy the kitchen and making us a lavish local breakfast each day. She even prepared for us extra food to take along on the day that we left because she knew we had a long car ride ahead. We experienced true Rajastani hospitality from this wonderful family who take pride in their culture and the home they care for.

Our stay in this house was by far the best accommodation of our three-week trip to India. The place was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The family was incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable tips and assisting us with practical things. They were also very communicative.
The location was on the edge of the city, so while there weren’t any major attractions nearby, they were easily reachable with a short rickshaw ride. The trade-off was the peacefulness of the area, with the soothing sounds of chirping crickets, tiny frogs in the garden, geckos, and a variety of tropical bird calls. It was the perfect spot to chill and relax.
A highlight was definitely the mother’s cooking. We got to try some amazing dishes that we would never have encountered as regular tourists. Prayag, the family’s son, was incredibly helpful too, always quick to respond and even following up on things proactively.
The house itself was cozy, tastefully decorated, and comfortably furnished. It was secure and felt like a real home.
If we ever find ourselves in Jodhpur again, we’ll definitely stay here - highly recommended!

We visited Ratan Villas in May and it was perfect. Staff was excellent, they were taking care of everything. Food was delicious. Haveli is beautiful, there is a lot of perfect spots. The pool was also perfect. Great value for money!

Excellent room, very spacious, clean and comforrtable bed. They have a sofa in the room and i got the higher floor with the view of Udayvillas. It was fantastic. The owner was also very decent.
stunning property - we mainly stayed at larger hotels on our trip in India so ratan villas gave us a more initiate family feel where you get to know the staff. amazing service from all the staff and the dinner experience is exceptional - candle lit romantic garden with amazing calming music. the food was incredible and such good value. best food we’ve had so far. they are so caring - highly recommend staying here. pool area gorgeous and room was beautiful. also great shower and amazing laundry service!!
Its a lovely welcoming hotel, the staff are super helpful and the rooms very comfy Breakfast was great - lots of choice. Pool lovely but very cold. only 200 rupees to take a rickshaw into town plus a couple of food places and shops nearby but mostly you need to take the rickshaw into town to eat and sightsee etc. Its got a lovely luxury feel inside the hotel. it is a bit pricey but it is also great quality and lovely to retreat to the bliss of the hotel after a day in the loud, bonkersness of Jodhpur itself :)
