Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Couldn’t have been better. Staff really friendly but not invasive. Perfect for a meditation retreat as it’s 30 mins walk from the famous mahabodhi temple. Only £1 for a tuktuk there. Really clean! Perfectly clean even! Food is ok. Free water - plenty as needed. Spa is available always without booking. I came at quiet time but even then was surprised by this as a regular person in Hotels. Great library about relevant Buddhist things - really useful. Gym is basic but sufficient.
It's cheap, spacious, quiet (there was only one other guest), family-run, in the village. Local people doing their own stuff. The hard bed was good to me. There's a kitchen with a refrigerator and a small cooker to use. By paying more attention to few aspects and adding few more services, Sujata Buddha Homestay can be really appealing for travellers who look for accommodation off the tourist zone but still at a reasonable distance from the main attractions.
Probably the best hotel in Bodhgaya. Modern design, well kept grounds with swimming pool. Quiet, well appointed room.
A real retreat from the noise and activity of the town.
It was off the beaten path, yet I enjoyed walking about 30 minutes through the rural villages to get to the main attractions like the Bodhi Tree. The all male was friendly and helpful. It felt like there were no other travelers which I enjoyed because it was quiet.
Bodhgaya is known for mosquitoes I was staying at a different place and changed to this place just because of it .The dorms are neat and tidy and especially they got a washing machine to wash the clothes, beautiful terrace and a big chair hammock area with bonfire. The guest staff is amazing Adi,Ravi and ranjan made some good local friends there and visited the nearby village for some raw experience. One of the best travel experiences of my life.
Marasa Sarovar is a tranquil property. The access is through a narrow village street so it may feel like you’re not on the right track but as you enter the gates you feel the beautiful ambience take over. It’s very spacious well designed and I loved the pool area.
The property was very beautiful and the stay was was very luxurious .I must appreciate the staff behaviour .From checkin to check out ,the service was very smooth .I would recommend other travellers to stay here as it is near to city center and bodhgaya as well.
