The house and garden are beautiful! The pool is a shallow plunge pool that was kept very clean and was perfect for hot afternoons. The staff was very accommodating for anything we asked for, arranging cars, massages, meals, and buying beer and wine for us each day. You just have to ask! They are great cooks! Rooms were cleaned on request. Hot water and AC worked great! Wi-Fi too (although I wouldn’t work remotely with it as it sometimes disconnected). We would happily stay here again! It was so nice to have the entire property to ourselves. I would say it’s the equivalent of a 3.5 star hotel in India if you’re familiar with other hotels on that scale, but felt more like an Airbnb since we had the whole place.

Had a pleasant stay at Brothers Home Stay. The rooms as well as the bathrooms are big, neat and clean. The hosts Mr. Harilal and his wife made us very comfortable and were excellent hosts.
The location is good and Mr. Harilal has a network of people who can deliver food or arrange transport.

They welcomed us with a good welcome drink. They made sure we were having a comfortable stay. The room had all the facilities. They provided a yummy breakfast. During our stay we lost our room key, but they handled it really cool. Thanks for that. We had an amazing stay and will surely visit again.

The location, and the beach in front of the property!It's an excellent property with a nice beach view, it's more like a private villa with a private beach, and the host is really helpful.
It had a tropical rustic feel to it. It is a home stay model, so there is a few villas on one property. The food was home cooked food rather than “restaurant” food which I really enjoyed. The property is literally on the river bank so has an excellent location. There is an option for a 3 hour boat ride from the property or kayaking, they can also arrange airport pick up and drop off.

Neat and clean room. Polite host. And we came to Alleppey for the backwaters sightseeing. Mr. Johnson offered all kinds of trips, from budget to luxury. We choose two very different typed, his overnight houseboat and their custom village canoe cruise. I must recommend both. It is difficult to describe, just great. Everyone should try it. Lovely backwaters. Maybe the best tourism place in India.
It was a such great moment! This houseboat is so clean. Softly on the backwaters you ll can relax in a luxury condition. The room are so confortable, the deck is stunning. The food is delicious served on a banana leaf. You can stop also on a fish market on the way and ask to cook your own food. Wifi available on the boat and also possibility to visit a small canal, inside a village with a smaller extra boat. All was perfect

The owner David's warm personality will make you feel very welcome. He even provided us excellent travel suggestions for the next leg of our trip which was a fantastic recommendation.
Right next to the lake with beautiful views, a lovely pool and traditional feel villas/ rooms. You’re very much in nature and away from the city. You are quite far from Alleppey itself but you can ask the hotel to call a tuk tuk to take you there for ~100 INR or less.

Close to the allepey backwaters around 4km.
Has 2 cafes close by at walking distance - Cafe Catamaran and Lemon Dew Breakfast Village, both are must visit.
